The most incredible few days of my life. I got to see a @Panthers win over the Bucs, including a CMC special and a LUKE interception. Thank you @roaringriot and @RoyalRiotUK for putting together such an amazing experience. I made some friends for life this weekend #KeepPounding

Also, Canales needs to hire a playcalling OC because he just isn't the guy to do it. Bryce has proved this year that his ceiling can be higher, yet so often is handcuffed by conservative and downright bad playcalling

Ultimately we lost by 2 points because we missed a FG and lost the turnover battle. But its so hard to swallow when all those refereeing decisions go in favour of the other team. There needs to be a level of accountability for officiating because the standard is just so low

Turns out this was absolutely bang on. Officiating has been absolutely appalling tonight, but only towards one team

That loss is on Canales. His inability to prepare for games like this continues to astound me. Had no plan b in the second half when the Saints D got better. I really have seen enough of him. But we're exceeding expectations so he'll get another year and nothing will change

@CPPfanfromtheD Playing to the sticks isn't the issue there, its crowding the LoS which means the LBs who are dropping off don't have time to react to the route combinations

I need someone who actually is a defensive coordinator to explain to me playing 10 yards off on third down. PLEASE. And for the love of god do not say it’s so they don’t get behind you.

@MuseJalenGreen4 Yeah that was definitely a part of it! We were also still reeling after a Luke had retired and suddenly had a huge hole at LB, and Simmons' versatility at college was very desirable. Obviously ended up working against him at the NFL level

@SamJordanTurner It was mainly because he was the hometown kid and many wanted to keep him home right?

This feels like a full circle moment. I loved him pre-draft and many Panthers fans thought we should've taken Simmons over Derrick Brown. Obviously glad that didn't happen!

It's insanity that people can look at this and be okay with us hosting an actual nonce on a taxpayers paid for visit, and then in the next breath blame immigrants for the issues in their life. Be angry at the rich, not those with nothing

@BrettKollmann We all know how good Evero is as a DC, but there was a lot of noise about him being fired at the end of last year. How high do you think our defensive ceiling can be this year, provided we stay injury free?

Panthers had most snaps of cover-3 in the entire league where they rotated from 2-high pre snap into MFC post-snap. Also had an extremely high blitz rate, which matches up with how much 3-3 fire zone they ran. You would think that would lead to more TFLs, but they missed so many damn missed tackles on those rotations (most in the league) that their AVERAGE depth of tackle on those rotations was 5.5 yards downfield.
