@Prestigious_Gt As someone who has zero tolerance for disrespect I'll react. How will you see me standing with my woman and still approach her. If she was alone and maybe I went to buy stuffs or something of that sort, I'll let my woman handle it, cos that's like the most mature thing to do.

Victor Osimhen sent Lerry ₦5M, and he delivered the full amount without deducting transfer charges. Wizrab has raised close to ₦500M here and delivered everything without removing stamp charges. Ayilola, the laptop guy, raised over ₦40M for laptop distribution and executed it smoothlessly without any issues. But out of the ₦300K Osimhen sent to Abazz for 15 jerseys, he not only kept ₦150K but also attempted to take 70% of the jerseys for himself. Integrity is expensive, many can’t afford it.

Nigeria is a reflection of the people in it. Someone shot his shot at Victor Osimhen for a jersey and even tagged a vendor. Osimhen saw it and said he’d personally send one.
Then told the vendor to add 15 more jerseys for others. -That’s where it got interesting.- Immediately money entered, the story changed. The vendor suddenly said Osimhen told him to share it himself.
He claimed he had already picked 15 people. —Then it got worse—
He called the same person who brought him the business a scam. From there, he tried to “negotiate”:
7 for the guy, 8 for himself. Greed, plain and simple. The guy refused and asked for all 15 jerseys as instructed. —Next thing—
The vendor switched again.
Said the post was “stolen” and brought another person to justify it. —Now here’s the real problem— Instead of people calling out the wrong,
they started defending it. “Make una settle.”
“Na just jersey.”
“Let it go.” - Someone even offered to pay extra,
rewarding bad behavior. And that’s when it becomes clear: We are not different from the people we complain about in power. —This is how it starts—
small compromise, small dishonesty, small defense of wrong. Nigeria didn’t just become this way overnight.
We built it, little by little, with everyday actions like this. Truth is, many people are only “good” because they’ve not had the opportunity to do worse. One day, we will have an honest conversation about the double standards on this TL. One day.

Are you asking whether computer science is a good course of study for your friend? It depends, there is no best way to answer to this because a lot factors are in play, the rise of artificial intelligence, the quality of program that will host him for the degree, the tools and equipment available for his learning pleasure and above all the zeal of your friend to explore tools, software, coding and knowledge that are beyond the norm. A lot of people I know are making heavy money from computer science especially the software side of It. The thing is if one is excellent in any course of study and is tenacious, there is usually a path waiting for him out there, whether as a business creator or as an employee

Why do people pursue a master's degree in a completely different field from their bachelor's degree? You studied Linguistics in university, why are you pursuing Artificial Intelligence in your Master's?

Agricultural economics is a great field to study. It will expose you to policy making and the likes. Keep an eye on getting an undergraduate internship at the AFDB, IMF etc. Become so good with economic modeling and you'll usually find a job even in the worst of days. Congratulations

What about if I tell you my story? Haha, you'll be dumbfounded. Wanted to study medicine at undergrad, offered agriculture twice after writing jamb twice. Accepted the agriculture, a 5 year course. Graduated with a CGPA of 4.23/5.00. Got a scholarship outside of the country to study Fertilizer science and technology. Finished with excellent grades. Came back to Nigeria to work, after about 2 years at it, I left for a PhD in sustainable finance, vis a vis climate finance, again on a fully funded scholarship. So what is the relationship between this 3 seemingly disconnected subjects? Everything! Studying outside of Nigeria exposed me to systems thinking, where everything is interconnected. The world is never linear and you need serious multidisciplinary skillsets to be able to attempt to grasp things at the broader lever. So if you see anyone that's studying something that sounds a bit different from what he studied in his undergraduates, pay close attention, there may be something you're not seeing.

My younger sister has always wanted to be a nurse. Not “manage something in the health field”, not “any science course”, but Nursing, specifically. So when she applied to University of Benin, we were all hopeful. When the admission came, we rushed to check. But instead of Nursing, she was given Forestry and Wildlife. We all just stared at the screen. She was quiet for a while, then said, “Let me just accept it. Maybe I can change later.” I wasn’t convinced. I even told her, “This doesn’t align with what you want. You might just be wasting time.” But she insisted. “Let me try first.” So she resumed, adjusted, and kept her dream alive in the background. Fast forward to now—she’s about to enter 200 level. And the reality is setting in. There’s still no clear path from Forestry to Nursing. Now the conversation has started again at home. “Should she try again?” We’re considering applying to Federal University Oye-Ekiti for Nursing this time. Maybe rewrite JAMB. Maybe redo WAEC or NECO to get a better result. Maybe even start with pre-degree. But here’s the difficult part: She’ll be 21 this year. And if she tries again, it will be her third attempt. At this point, it’s no longer just about admission, It’s about time, money, and the fear of starting over. Now we’re all stuck between two options: Continue a course she never wanted. Or take a risk and chase the dream again, even if it means going back to the beginning. We still don’t know which one is the right choice.

@odogwu_ogidi This dude is clearly CIA. It’s really so obvious the objective he has been given. Indoctrinate, raise tensions and arm the people. They are trying to destabilize the middle belt.

One more thing to add: being overly committed to a religious fellowship. If you don’t build a strong CGPA early on, getting to first class becomes really hard. And even if you start with it, you still need to be careful not to lose it. I was a fellowship president, so I know!
‘Wale Adejimi@Ifwal95

Two things that can easily spoil your CGPA or your chances of graduating with a 1st class: 1. Involvement in student union activities—especially at the SUG level. 2. Getting distracted by romantic pursuits, especially when your academic success draws more attention. Beware!

The videos coming out from Jos are horrific. God look me finish, create me put inside country whose entire design is to daily ragebait me. More people killed in one day, in one village - than in one year, in entire continents. Wartime numbers for a country not at war. Tsk.
