Tariff Wars hurt homebuilders, real estate brokers, bourbon sellers, farmers, carmakers, shippers, purchasers of steel, etc. Growth in international trade is proportional to growth in GDP.  A fact.  If you cripple trade, you will ultimately cripple GDP.  Not a good thing.

Or do your job and lead. Remove the pork and it will get passed. Those devastated by the hurricane season and struggling farmers not getting what they need is your fault for allowing this no-win bill choice to happen. They will blame you. Stop asking people to sign 1500 page deals that nobody has time to read and refine before a vote on. It’s this kind of crap that got us over $30 trillion in debt. Cut it out.

Republicans CANNOT allow millions of Americans devastated by the historic hurricane season, or our struggling farmers, go without the help they desperately need.   We will decide FY25 spending in March, when Trump is back in the WH and Republicans control the Senate and House.

Just a thought: Could authorities change the labels on the bathroom doors to remove “Men’s” and “Women’s” to “Penis Bathroom” and “Vagina” Bathroom”? Would this solve the problem? Maybe everyone needs to respect one another’s identity, but not make the bathroom choice about how you identify. Asking people to enter the same bathroom as those who have their same literal genitalia seems like a no brainer.
