The war is far away. The bill is not. The pricier auto fare. The longer kirana bill for the same basket. The costlier gas refill. Oil up, rupee down, kitchen squeezed. Nobody calls it a war. They call it the cost of living.

I will be presenting the opening theme at the 2nd BRICS Culture Working Group in Varanasi on 04 June. Try this: search for the best weaver in a town you have never visited. You will find hotels, resorts, a cafe with 4.5 stars. You will not find her. She has no listing because the orange economy was never built to hold her. That gap is my presentation. The closing of it, I suspect, is sitting in the other delegations’ notes, and I intend to take some home.

The 2nd BRICS Culture Working Group Meeting will be held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on 4–5 June 2026, bringing together delegates from BRICS nations to strengthen cooperation in the fields of the creative economy, cultural heritage protection, and sustainable development. In addition to the official discussions, delegates will experience India’s vibrant cultural traditions through a specially curated cultural programme, showcasing the country’s rich and diverse heritage. #CultureUnitesAll #BRICSIndia #BRICS2026

RCB: 18 years, zero titles. Then 2 in a row. Only CSK and MI had ever defended the IPL crown. Now there’s a third name on that list. The team that waited the longest just became back-to-back champions. Ee Sala Cup Namdu. Again!

Today the Leader of Opposition of Tamil Nadu said Sanatana Dharma should be eradicated. With respect to the office, not the argument: this needs the one thing it lacks completely, context. Sanatana Dharma rests on Pancha Bhoota. Air carries a foul smell sometimes. You trace the source and clean it. Basavanna in Karnataka and Narayana Guru in Kerala did exactly that, from within the tradition itself, and transformed millions of lives. No eradication notice required. The Leader of Opposition is no Basavanna. He is no Narayana Guru. In 2023 he compared Sanatana Dharma to dengue and mosquitoes. The Supreme Court rebuked him. The Madras High Court called it hate speech. His party governed while the problems he now cites grew. Tamil Nadu identified their own dengue and eradicated DMK’s majority at the ballot box. Sanatana Dharma has stood 5,000 years. It has survived empires. It has not noticed either speech. If this attitude continues, Sanatana Dharma will still be here, unchanged. DMK will be a history. Dharma outlasts politics. Always has.

@AstroSharmistha The Moon was NOT in Dhanishtha. The Moon was at Aquarius 24°43′ — Pūrva Bhādrapadā pāda 2, nakshatra lord Jupiter (not Mars), KP sub-lord Mercury. This is confirmed by Drik Panchang for Chennai on this date.

Tamil Nadu oath taking happened with Moon in Dhanishtha - a multi resourceful nakshtra. But Nakshatra lord Mars is the 6th lord siting with core enemy 8th lord Saturn in 10th house. Which says TVK Govt will face lots of internal issues, his own people will oppose his decisions time to time. Once Rahu will reach Dhanishtha at the end of 2026, lots of internal and external issues will make it harder for the Govt to sustain. If at all Vijay can sustain till 2029, then he will come up stronger than ever. Saturn reaching Lagna of TVK foundation chart Aries is also going to add a bit more struggle for Vijay in 2027. Immense patience and decision on RIGHT TIME can save him. Dhanishtha talks about taking action on right time.

Investors said the market was too saturated. The market said otherwise. NTR: 46.3% | Vijay TVK: 41.8% | MGR: 33.5% | Chiranjeevi: 16.4% | Pawan: 5.5% 26 months. Zero governance record. Single largest party. Series A just became the market leader. #TVK #StartupIndia

Bengaluru is on a path to hit 40°C by the early 2030s. With our current urban density, it will feel like 50°C. We are witnessing the systematic dismantling of a city’s natural cooling system.

We all have a story about the city we call home. Usually, it is a story of a long commute, a favorite neighborhood, or a sense of belonging. But what happens when we look at the collective story of all our cities through the lens of data? The WeAreCity 2026 report by UnboxingBLR does exactly that. It takes the "social media wars" between cities and grounds them in reality. It is heartening to see Bengaluru and Hyderabad emerging as such powerful partners in India's growth, leading in everything from tech patents to new jobs. I often think that to love a city is to understand it deeply. This report helps us do just that, celebrating our progress while being honest about our challenges in liveability and inclusion. Big congratulations to the team for giving us this holistic view. It is a beautiful reminder that our cities are not just dots on a map, but the beating heart of our future. @GoyalMalini Report - unboxingblr.com/initiatives/da…

In a city that prides itself on being the future, it is a difficult reality to see 77 percent of our neighbors struggling with something as basic as a cooking gas cylinder. The current LPG shortage in Bengaluru is more than just a logistical delay; it is creating a real sense of anxiety in our kitchens and homes. I sometimes think about the senior citizens and families who are having to wait days or even turn to the black market just to keep their stoves running. It is a reminder that no matter how much we innovate, we are all deeply connected to these essential systems. Watching our community groups share tips on conserving gas or moving to induction stoves shows our resilience, but it also highlights the need for more reliable support. Let’s hope for a quick resolution so that every home in our city can feel secure and at peace again.

The decoupling of voice from identity is a civilizational shift. As AI audio reaches human parity, the bottleneck moves from production to authenticity. In a multilingual nation, this is the ultimate bridge for knowledge. perplexity.ai/page/nikhil-ka…

India’s cultural economy in one equation: V = C × N² Creators exist. Connectivity unlocks value. OneTAC could amplify NDDKG to connect culture into networks where experiences multiply and value compounds.

Along the coast of Tamil Nadu, in the waters of Ramanathapuram, particularly around Pamban, Keelakarai and Ervadi over 300 traditionally skilled fisherwomen dive into the sea everyday to earn for their families. Setting out in groups of eight to ten by boat before sunrise, they skin-dive up to depths of 4–5 metres, hand-picking seaweed from the seabed and gathering it in mesh bags known locally as kacha. By the time they return to shore around 1 p.m., each woman brings back 10–12 bags of seaweed, with each bag weighing 20–25 kilograms. Their labour sustains their families supporting children’s education, and household needs. Government of Tamil Nadu, under the TN-SHORE Project, is designing a Village Enterprise Model working with them to strengthen their enterprise, build value chains and empower them economically. This Women’s Day, we salute these seaweed gatherers of Tamil Nadu, truly courageous women who inspire 🫡 #InternationalWomensDay2026 #WomensDay2026 #WomensDay @tnforestdept @tnclimatechange

At #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026, Bharat Pavilion's tech leap: 1. Smart Glass: Office partitions become interactive touchscreens. 2. Bridgital Loom: AI scales traditional weaving for modern markets. 3. As a staunch believer in astrology and a participant in the #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026, I see the alignment finally favoring our shift from services to a product economy. For decades we were an IT services nation, but today, AI startups are challenging giants to build the products in India for India, that will make us a global superpower!

India is hosting AI summit 2026. This is far bigger than any AI summit happened around the world. As I said, on @TNNavbharat, India will create it’s own AI platform which will be head turner for many. India will be among top 3 AI Super powers in coming time. SHARE IT. #ArtOfPrediction
