@hntrgurl13 Parents who excuse their childrens bullying ARE the problem. There is no "Part of" in a situation they let happen. Teaching your children to DEFEND themselves means theres a threat to defend against.

I’m a bit mixed on this. I think if a kid needs to defend themself, yes fight back. But I also think reactions should be equal. Like if someone shoves you don’t beat the shit out of them. But kids also get pushed too far and snap. It’s a difficult line.

I love this movie with all my heart… but a lot could have been avoided if they just had a conversation. “Hey I used to be a mermaid and there’s a sea witch out there that wants you bc your father killed her sister so MAYBE don’t go out there, kid.”
