The ironic thing about people constantly bringing up Klopp is that Klopp himself would be absolutely disgusted by the way some fans have abused Slot and the players, especially after everything they’ve had to go through this season.
Criticism is part of football, but the vile abuse and toxic behaviour from some fans has gone way beyond that.

Mohamed Salah - the man he's supposedly replacing - managed 12 goals and 10 assists in all competitions in his worst-ever season for Liverpool. Bowen got 11 goals and 12 assists. He doesn't raise the bar from what Salah accomplished in his most disjointed and disappointing season at the club.
He's also 30 in December. Bowen's a good player, but he should not be on any Liverpool shortlists, much less their shopping list for this summer.

Found it genuinely sad at Anfield yesterday that Slot didn’t feel comfortable joining the lap of honour with the players because of the fear that our own fans would jeer or boo him. Imagine creating that kind of atmosphere around your own manager after everything this squad has dealt with this season. What have we become?
