@Sean_B9 Nobody blamed club apart from the cult who go after everything the club do and have been blaming them since he left even though Stevie himself admitted in his book not long after that he turned down a deal. Stating that fact which he himself mentioned is not getting on his back.

I love him but it’s mad how many people simply don’t acknowledge he turned down a contract that would have reflected where he was at 35 and declining very quickly. He literally refused the chance to do exactly this.

@Dan23_92 clearly hadn’t watched the interview. No one can blame the club including Gerrard.. maybe possibly the management. And he only looks back at it as a regret becuase Klopp came out of nowhere and set us back to where we belonged
