I do kinda think there’s a chance Fujimoto’s gonna go full comic book and have Part 2 be the end of Denji’s run, take a break and come back with War Woman or another story set in the CSM universe. People overlook how the superhero format gives Fujimoto a p good advantage as a mangaka while doing something we usually don’t see in that space. He can create one-shots or other series, but still revisit this world through the framing of it being a new comic run/part. (I also think he likes money) Being labeled as a separate series from CSM lets him get someone else to draw while he writes too. He’s nutty enough to “kill” Chainsaw Man and give him the superhero rite of passage that is a resurrection down the line, or pass the mantle to someone else for a bit. Guess we’ll see Tuesday 😵‍💫
