@ButlersRanger Seems to be those in the “educracy” rather than rank and file teachers, but yes the commitment to failure is disturbing.

This is not good news on St. Patrick’s Day, but it’s worth knowing -

Some Canadian university should start a classical education institute and fill it with scholars who are actually interested in finding the best ways to teach kids. Everyone knows "discovery math" is a sham but we're stuck with it because a handful of weak experts insist upon it.
