Some stories are written, ours was registered. Bit by bit, we began collecting the pieces of identity that would define what /send is, and what it would one day stand for. First came the handle, then the domains; each one a move toward permanence. When X introduced verified handles for sale, we knew what we had to do. Among tens of millions of users, @send was one of one, a handle that couldn’t be replicated or replaced. Verified handles on X now sell anywhere between $10,000 and $500,000. We believe the @send handle is worth at least $1 million, and that’s us being conservative. The handle wasn’t about flex, it was about foundation. A single word, owned outright, on the app where we've grown and will continue to grow. But one name still lived elsewhere. For years, the Send trademark belonged to Silvergate Bank. A week after they abandoned it, we filed. As of September 2024, Send is now a registered trademark covering cryptocurrency assets and stablecoins, a name protected, permanent, and ours to carry forward. Some names are borrowed, ours was destined, as with everything else about /send. Identity isn’t given. It’s claimed. Send is all there is.
