think of it as a hidden bloodlust. each time killer got a direct hit, stamina drain was reduced for a bit. this let killer keep up chases despite having less stamina

@HolidayModStan thats a relief, i was wondering why killers all seemed to struggle more and i assumed it was just good players coming back for the update

@DeltaESP_tradus @edmundmcmillen good argument, i feel like burn is overhyped tho. it’s only ever dangerous if it hits double-digits which is only likely in the core (or pyrophina, i guess)
i’ve gotten serveral burn-heavy fights but it really hardly affects me, even on final bosses. could be a matter of playstyl

@ShadowGoatz @edmundmcmillen On burn-heavy fights it can be pretty useful and in harder difficulties every fight can be Burn heavy.

Ok for real, someone on r/mewgenics make a post so you guys can argue the top 10ish worst non collarless abilities please. People on here keep suggesting quality abilities that just aren’t broken. I really wanna know what the consensus from people with 100+ hours is on this for the balance update.

A lot of you are suggesting abilities that are just kind of mid or niche, I’m really asking you to dive deep and find five or at least close to five that you feel are almost worthless. I know it’s gonna be hard cause we tried to balance these things, but I would really like to know what the consensus is moving into this balance patch.

@edmundmcmillen all in all, it’s just a waste imo. it’s not the WORST, but i’m trying to give insight to ones i see nearly no practical value in. even the worst spells have those one-off cases where they save the day. this one is too niche for that, i think.

@edmundmcmillen now the plus version is better. cleansing debuffs is good, but that’s, again, SITUATIONAL. highly unlikely a unit actively needing cleansing will have access to water, not be able to reach tiles you made due to druid being a backline unit usually.

@ConfessionsMew tip: if you see a devestating elite buff that would destroy you, save scum before any moves and change your equipment to reroll the elite buffs

@radianthropod i got gun in a mech suit and he delivered the final blow but i forgot my downed cat with the quest item was in front of him too so i won but ruined the quest

@GalactaSpider @ConfessionsMew i had no idea he went for downed units, i already beat him on impossible as each class so i wont fight him but damn 😭

@ConfessionsMew bear traps are quite good to deal with him esp since you can try to bait his dodge to make him go into them and then he cant dodge while immoblized
you can also control his possession easily by downing ur weakest unit since he goes for downed units when possessing

Soonish for balance. First dlc will be small but substantial enough to make many happy. 4 new classes ( 300+ new abilities ) tons of unlocks and more things to do.
Big dlc will be later and might focus on a 4th act.
