बांकीपुर और बिहार के मेरे सभी परिवारजन एवं कार्यकर्ता साथी, जनवरी 2006 में पिताजी के आकस्मिक निधन के बाद पार्टी ने मुझे पटना पश्चिम से उपचुनाव लड़ने का अवसर दिया और दिनांक 27 अप्रैल 2006 को मैं पहली बार पटना पश्चिम क्षेत्र से निर्वाचित होकर सामाजिक एवं राजनीतिक जीवन की शुरुआत की। पिछले 20 वर्षों में पिताजी, स्वर्गीय नवीन किशोर प्रसाद सिन्हा द्वारा बनाए गए इस क्षेत्र को पारिवारिक भाव से सींचने, संवारने और विकास के पटल पर आगे ले जाने का निरंतर प्रयास किया है। मैंने सदैव अपने क्षेत्र और बिहार के विकास के लिए समर्पित भाव से कार्य किया । इसी का प्रतिफल है कि यहाँ की देवतुल्य जनता ने मुझे लगातार 5 बार सदन में अपना प्रतिनिधि चुनकर सेवा का सौभाग्य प्रदान किया। सदन के अंदर हो या सदन के बाहर, दोनों ही स्थानों का उपयोग मैंने अपने क्षेत्र और बिहार की जनता की आवाज़ उठाने और उनकी समस्याओं के समाधान का मार्ग निकालने के लिए किया। बिहार विधानसभा के सदस्य के रूप में मुझे सत्ता पक्ष और विपक्ष के कई वरिष्ठ विधायकों से बहुत कुछ सीखने का अवसर मिला। मैंने अपने क्षेत्र के कई महत्वपूर्ण विषयों का समाधान जनता और कार्यकर्ताओं के सुझावों से ही निकाला है। माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी एवं माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री @NitishKumar जी के नेतृत्व में पार्टी ने जब मुझे बिहार सरकार के मंत्री के रूप में काम करने का अवसर दिया, तब मुझे कई अहम फैसलों, नीतियों और योजनाओं का क्रियान्वयन करने में सफलता मिली। इसके लिए मैं माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी का धन्यवाद व्यक्त करता हूँ। मैंने यह हमेशा कहा है कि जनता ने मुझे समस्याएँ भी बताई, और उन समस्याओं के समाधान का रास्ता भी मुझे जनता ने हीं दिखाया। कार्यकर्ताओं ने मुझे भाई के रूप में, परिवार के सदस्य के रूप में और अभिभावक के रूप में अंगुली पकड़कर आज इस मुकाम तक पहुँचाया है। मैं पटना और बिहार की जनता को आश्वस्त करता हूँ कि जो परिवार का भाव उन्होंने मुझे दिया है, उसका मैं सदैव सम्मान करता रहूँगा। आज मैं बिहार विधानसभा के बांकीपुर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से निर्वाचित सदस्य पद से इस्तीफा दे रहा हूँ। पार्टी ने मुझे जो नई भूमिका दी है, उसके माध्यम से भी मैं अपने क्षेत्र और बिहार के विकास के लिए सदैव तत्पर एवं संकल्पित रहूँगा। मेरे कार्यकर्ताओं और बिहार की जनता के साथ मेरा जो अटूट संबंध है, वह सदैव बना रहेगा और मुझे हमेशा नई ऊर्जा, प्रेरणा और मार्गदर्शन देता रहेगा। माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के नेतृत्व में 2047 के विकसित भारत एवं विकसित बिहार बनाने के सपने को साकार करने की दिशा में मैं निरंतर प्रयासरत रहूँगा। नमन् बाँकीपुर!! जय बिहार !!

As per the Delhi Police, six people including three children were taken to Manipal hospital in Dwarka, one male was taken to IGI hospital and declared brought dead. A female was taken to Safdarjung with 25% burns. The local police, Air Force police at the spot. Around 20 fire tenders and 11 CATS Ambulances were brought.
