@JeremyW60825401 @jackofallgames7 Nah. I can’t create a good story in The Sims 4 because the sims ruin almost any event I set up. They suck at abiding to what they should be doing at the events.

There’s so much gameplay the Sims 4 has that I don’t want to say goodbye to either though.
The sandbox features (eg. where you can select activities), that allow you to customise so much, the skill trees, sentiments etc.
That’s not including packs like CoL, L&D etc.

I think we can all collectively say. We want a Sims game that has the gameplay and connection like The Sims 2 and 3, but the look (if not better) than The Sims 4. It’s not that difficult.

@JeremyW60825401 @jackofallgames7 I think it’s mixed. Each game has strengths & weaknesses for different creations and characters.
Sims 4 can be a choice for having everything shoved into one save game, otherwise I think the older games fare better. Unless you want something like polyamory or modern details.

@jackofallgames7 Sims 4 is the most “open” in terms of creating exactly the type of story, scenario, relationship, and places to visit that you want. And it doesn’t get enough credit for that. It’s the best game in the franchise for me

What features in Sims 4 that’s pretty rare to be achieved?
Examples: winning the lottery, regular dying from a regular chicken attack, etc.

@Elms_Woods @onlyabidoang The key is having almost no Sims in the unfavorited section of manage households.
It’s between your sim and those others.

@onlyabidoang I think I’ve played the sims lottery every single time it’s been prompted since being added and I’ve never once won the lottery. ATP I have a better chance of winning the actual lottery

I love that The Sims were constantly adding festivals to different worlds.
Only for them to finally add a second City world….that has no festivals…in a pack based around socialisation and meeting new people…in the City…a place where people meet…because events happen….

Sul sul, thankfully, this is a mini patch that doesn't disable mods, meaning that it shouldn't break mods.
Mods should continue to work correctly as long as you have the latest versions of the mods installed.✅

Sometimes male anger at ‘women getting special treatment’ reminds me of a gorilla experiment. One gorilla gets a banana every hour. The females next to him get one every four hours. Then someone decides to be fairer and gives the females a banana every two hours instead. The original gorilla? He flips out. He's still getting his banana every hour, but it feels like a loss because his advantage shrank. That's how a lot of men react to basic fairness for women: not as justice, but as theft.

It’s a sad day to see Claire’s close down. This is what happens when kids are brought up on influencer culture, they're not happy with 99p zigzag hairbands, peel-off varnish, earring STICKERS, and now need top-name skincare and Monica Vinader bangles. A total loss for childhood💔

@Ch3rrySimss When Sims 4 launched it had almost no options. They didn't start making more till years in. They also didn't go back to add more options to old features.

What do you think you’ll likely do based on the rumours of Project X so far;
- Stick to The Sims 4, and play fully modded/hacked with no worry of updates.
- Move to Project X, regardless of buyout, done with The Sims 4.
- Play both, rotate between.
- Unsure
