It’s been another action packed day of fun for our P7s! Everyone is enjoying the sunshine and having a fantastic time.

Our P7s have settled in well and had a fantastic first day of activities in the sunshine!

P4 celebrated World Book Day by taking part in a STEM through stories activity. We read "The Creepy Carrots!" book and then we worked on Food Technology by making our own carrot soup. We linked this to Science by keeping the carrot tops to observe any future growth!

A fantastic opening this morning of our P7 School Show! We have been blown away by all of the talent, hard work and preparation from our whole learning community. Well done everyone on such an amazing achievement! @SimpsonPrimary

So impressed with our P6 learners today showcasing their personal projects. The level of detail, planning and reference to the META Skills was of excellent quality. Well done everyone!

Our school newspaper club had a visit this week from a parent who works as a journalist. He delivered a talk on article writing and interviewing skills which was very helpful. Thanks for your expertise Mr Carson!

P3 loved attending their trip this week to The Kelpies which linked into their current topic focusing on Scottish Myths and Legends. We were very proud of how you represented the school- well done!

P3 have been exploring different Scottish Myths and Legends to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Scottish culture historically and in the present day. Here are some Selkies that P3C have created! @SimpsonPrimary
