@_svs_ I think soon they might have a clause to penalize people for rescinding offers on both sides

I’m afraid that there is no coming back from this. The contract has been broken. The only way out is to reduce notice periods to 14 days or max one month, bit of course there is no way to get all employers on the same page about this so this will continue. Startups should quit complaining as they are not washed in milk either - rescinding offers without penalty, no severance etc.

@_svs_ Orgs who work on labour cost arbitrage are the only people who will complain about such issues. If founder shares wealth, then employees already know that they couldn't do better. If they can do better, then pay up more, else lose them and be happy for them!
