Ok here we go, the Ralsei video. It was gonna be called "Moves With a Purpose" (bmbmbm ref for true knowers), and it'd have focused on what Ralsei's driving force is, what his purpose/motive is, why he hides so much stuff from everyone, and how darkners work. (1/15)

Ok so since i'm barely getting the next video done, i guess i should lay out the main points of the Ralsei video pre ch5 sometime. It might not really be that original or groundbreaking, but i think it would've still been an interesting video. Ralsei is interesting in general

@orbitulon i was racking my brain as to why these goobers were just rudinn 2.0 and how the hell it would work for that theory, but that is genuinely a great answer rn when we only have the visuals of them. like that thing looks like a child drew it (which is why they're so great and funyy)

@bwooom Yea this is a great way to put it. That is probably partially why Ralsei specifically is such an important darkner, but where Ralsei comes from, who made him, is still a mystery to me and IDK if it is JUST explained by him being just to get us hyped over Asriel 2.0

Don't expect a lot of these threads from me in the future lol. I much more enjoy putting these into a video format, but if i start running out of time for any theories, i'll probably share them like this. This whole thing might've already been obv to a lot of people, but oh well.

TL;DR: Ralsei's purpose, and why he's so weird, is because he wants to keep the player engaded with the game, but because he is a person too, he struggles to keep the act of being a character in a videogame up, without shattering the 4th wall and ruining our immersion. (15/15)
