@MercifulMessage That's true. I don't have a problem with teaching their kids firearm safety. Also Christians don't teach their kids if they die while killing non-Muslims they'll be rewarded in paradise. Trying to equate Islam with Christianity is the path of fools.

So we just gloss over the fact she hit him with a car while trying to flee after the commission of a felony? Cause yea, that's what got Ms. Good shot. You want to be pissed about this situation? Be pissed at the organizations who ginned Ms. Good up until she committed a felony. THEY created the situation. I'm talking about the Democrats in Congress who helped create the laws the ICE agents are enforcing. Everyone ignores the fact that Schumer and Co. helped create the immigration laws that they're now criticizing law enforcement for enforcing. As always the Left gives their Democrat masters a pass for creating the fucking mess.

He murdered Renee Nicole Good. Shot her three times and then called her a “f*cking b*tch”. Her last words? “It’s ok dude I’m not mad”. He got three days administrative leave before being transferred to another state. No punishment. No accountability. No justice.
The Daily Beast@thedailybeast

The ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Nicole Good has been quietly relocated to a different state and allowed to resume work. thedailybeast.com/ice-agent-jona…

@strujillo075 I’ve driven by section 8 housing and have seen the BMWs and other luxury cars sitting out front, explain to me how that is possible and I might be sympathetic to those who “are in need”.

Do you understand the sheer number of tax payers who are barley holding on? We're being forced to fund a system where 1/2 of all funds are lost to fraud and corruption. I believe in a helping hand to help bring people out of poverty. I don't believe in a system that allows corruption at every step and does nothing to stop it.

NO! We go back to welfare the way it used to be. You didn't get cash to use as you see fit. You were given vouchers. The vouchers were used for food items and only specific food items. No candy, chips, or soft drinks. Meat, cheese, bread, veggies and baby formula. Payments for housing were sent directly to the landlords, not loaded on a card that could be sold for cash.

@strujillo075 The issue is not helping the poor. The issue is how it's done. 80 different federal government welfare programs with huge administrative costs & fraud. Why not consolidate it into one program that distributes cash that the poor can use as they see fit?

Thanks for that question! Seriously, that's a good point. Under a flat tax there are no loopholes or special exemptions. No tax lawyers or tax prep companies to "help" the average person. It wouldn't be needed. Everyone pays the flat rate. Everyone could file their taxes using a post card. Full stop. I understand your concern in case 2 but that's unlikely. The corporation can't compete with the State's military & police force. Reality is you pay the flat tax or are fined. If the flat tax is reasonable, say 12% that would DRAW corporations from across the globe as it would be one of the lowest rates on the planet. The progressive tax system is lends itself to corruption and was always meant as a means of control, not revenue.

@SlingForAmerica @saylordocs How would you handle corporations and wealthy indv. that 1. Can use fancy accountants and loopholes to hide their money, and 2. become wealthier than the state and coup the govt through coercion or force?

HOT TAKE: If businesses only have to pay taxes on profit, not revenue, then I should only have to pay taxes after I’ve paid all my bills and rent.

Are you insane? Shambles? The only shambles in Iran is the Iranian military and military infrastructure. Good lord , the US military has performed exceptionally in Iran. The military isn't the problem, it's the expectation that the leaders of Iran (those still alive) will capitulate. They won't because they don't care about their people. The people of Iran must be armed so they can overthrow their regime themselves. That's what's proving difficult for the US. Not the military mission. I believe sir you know Jack and shit about the military and the US / Iranian conflict. I also believe Jack just left town.

Five European armies -French, Belgian, Italian, Greek, and Spanish practice crossing rivers in France. Men clumped together, no anti drone canopies, grilles, or nets anywhere. These men, and their armour would be literally wiped out in minutes on the modern Battlefield

@Jamie_ORourke @saylordocs Oh damn. Sorry dude, the tax laws in the UK are much different than the US. In the US if you're outside a certain mile radius and can prove you have no choice but to commute you may be able to write off the miles driving at a set price. Same with meals, usually business related.

The entire situation should have been avoided and talked out. If you're armed you have a responsibility to attempt to deescalate the situation. The shootee didn't really give the shooter time to plan anything differently. I didn't see the shooter's face but he appeared to be quite startled by the attack. Startled people will react, sometimes violently. As for putting the guy in a headlock, a violent person attacked you, who's to say he doesn't have a knife or other weapon. Are you willing to bet your life on it? Finally, I was a bouncer in my youth. We had an evening where a man came looking for his girlfriend who happened to be with another gentleman. He started something. I tackled him and put him in a headlock. He started pulling his pistol and one of my guys pounced on him and took his weapon. He also had brass knuckles and an 8" knife. My point is you don't know what you're getting into when you have to go physical. The best practice is to try to avoid these types of situations. Sometimes it's just not possible. When that occurs bad things tend to happen. I'm sad this guy got shot; and for such a crappy reason at that. But you can't assault people, period.

It's not my eyes you have to convince. Manslaughter is the inadvertent killing of another. You killed him but you didn't mean to. This man was killed during an act of self defense, that's different and in most US States he's justified in his actions. Calling me a psychopath isn't helping anything. I'm telling you how the law will see this in the US. You don't have to like it. In the end if you don't want to take the chance of getting shot, don't attack other people.

Wees realistisch Richard.

OK, who's going to provide a place for these deadbeats to live? And you're not living off someone's work as a landlord, you're selling the use of your property to a tenant for a monthly fee. I'm tired of these Communists, it didn't work in the Soviet Union and it only works in China because US companies fund their government.

They're creating reefs. I've built a small one under my doc in the canal on which I live. Started out as a few cinder blocks, I'll expand it in a few weeks with another 50-60 blocks. That provides real-estate for filter feeders who clean the water and habitat for smaller fish. Marco Island FL did this in their canals and it greatly improved their local water quality and habitat for marine life. There are plastic artificial reefs for docs but they're costly and it's still plastic in the water. $125 in cinder blocks provides a clean safe reef.

Instead of flat tax, over the poverty level, how about everyone pay the tax. Thats the only fair thing. Or consumption tax only. If you buy something, you pay a tax. People who have more, pay more. But it’s 100% by choice.
Richard Slingwine@SlingForAmerica

You seem to not understand how it works... Businesses can only deduct expenses that go into making/delivering their products. Not every expense is deductible. The same goes for your household. That said... If you want true tax fairness you should push for a flat tax that everyone over the poverty level pays. Period.

@ChrisCl23903611 @bencollins1919 @BowesChay On average US soldiers are better trained than any other fighting force currently on the planet. Every force has it's rejects, the US has less and they're usually not allowed in positions of command.

@bencollins1919 @SlingForAmerica @BowesChay Two things can be true at the same time. The US has an excellent elite core while the bulk is probably unmotivated and combat unreliable. Basically a jobs program. The Europeans probably have a much smaller component core. If they go to conscription, those troops will he subpar.
