@AfricanJesu Playing racist card. There was a licence required from him, so he could run starlink.
There is a saying "when you get to Rome ,you behave like the Romans".
He should provide the requirements and run his business freely, not playing racist card

@ugo_mpa @Igwevumma No nwannem, those masks belong to Gere people of Ivory coast and Liberia.
Here is mgbedike mask

English

@Igwevumma The funny thing is that those images have been mislabeled as Ekwensu, when they are actually Mgbedike masquerade head
English

This is how stupid our people are.
Someone created this with his or her imagination, called it Ekwensu and you all believed it.
No energy, or spirit or deity has a face.. people are just using imagination (either good or bad).
When we're ready to learn, we will.
MORR†$👑@morristhadon
Wait, this is “Ekwensu”? Bro, I understand the whites now😭
English

@Igwevumma These masks do not belong to the Igbo people, I think they belong to Gere people of Ivory Coast and Liberia .
This one I posted belongs to the Igbo people

English

@AfricanJesu Ike gwuru black man. Sometimes I just wonder what really went wrong.
English

@Smartworld05 💯 Why anyone is still ready to die on the hill of "One Nigeria" is baffling.

I didn't expect the engagement I got and still getting on this post. Mad.
Proof the question of post-colonial Nigeria and Africa as a whole is far from settled.
Thanks to everyone who engaged.
AfricanJesu@AfricanJesu
Can you imagine the tribalism and chaos that would consume these European nations (overlaid with the map of Nigeria) if they were to be "forcefully amalgamated" into one country? The true size of Nigeria's problems.
English

@Emma_Bima @Comrade_Kamara There are countries without Natural resources and are still doing wonderfully well and also there are landlocked countries still doing well.
English

@Smartworld05 @Comrade_Kamara lol. So you'd leave all the rare earth minerals associated with younger granite in the North and middle belt, available in massive reserves directly to your rival country for sedimentary minerals like coal, limestone and Kaolin. I hear you o.
English

When you're done reading, your first instinct shouldn't be- save the continent. save your Nation, your Ethno-Nation first, then Regional solidarity becomes easy.
China, Russia, didn't abandon their Nation building. They built first, now they're useful to other Revolutionaries...

Every pro-Black/African should read these books 1) The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon (1961) 2) How Europe Underdeveloped Africa by Walter Rodney 3) Sister Outsider by Audre Lorde (1984) 4) Women, Race & Class by Angela Y. Davis 5) The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley
English

@nzemmili @Kene_Nnewi You missed my questions.
Ọnwa said Anambra bu isi igbo and I asked him a question "before the creation of present day Anambra, where was isi Igbo?" .Because present day Anambra consist of not only Ndị Ọmambala, there are other Igbo towns and kingdoms
English

@Smartworld05 @Kene_Nnewi And you have to tell me, onye Idemmili what we call our lands way before the colonists came, even after giving you historical document?
Nna, we call Omambala ndi Olu in Idemmili, and recognise the entire area as Anambala
English

@Emma_Bima @Comrade_Kamara Who said igbos has no coastal line?
And who said we have lesser resources to sustain our split?
The truth is we have the resources both Human resources (which is the best resource)& minerals. And Igbo has a coastal line.
Landlocked countries are doing well, so let's try splitting
English

@Smartworld05 @Comrade_Kamara sha my point is Nigeria ethnic groups have lesser resources to sustain our split.
Igbos have no coastal line and would need a war to achieve one.
SS hate each other.
Middle belt have rare minerals that South don't have.
Yorubas varely have oil.
And there's about 200more groups
English

@nzemmili @Kene_Nnewi Nwanne I'm from Anambra state. I'm not a foreigner.
Ezigbo onye Ozubulu.
Daalụ
English

@Smartworld05 @Kene_Nnewi Oga, it’s okay, I can’t have a foreigner telling me about my land.

English

@Emma_Bima @Comrade_Kamara It didn't help Sudan like you said, but it helped Singapore, Serbia , Croatia, etc. let's try it first ,we won't know if we didn't try . No harm in trying
English

@Smartworld05 @Comrade_Kamara Doesn't work that way sadly. One break incites more breakup, which incites instability & more exploitation
Even within our states & local government we can't work together, bcos tribalism is now an excuse at every societal level. Splitting achieves nothing, it didn't help Sudan.
English

@nzemmili @Kene_Nnewi De claim that majority of Anambra today were called Anambala way be4 the colonists" is not accurate for inland towns like Ozubulu, Nnewi,Oka. Ọmambala is the ancient Igbo name for the river, but it was never the blanket name for the whole present-day state or its inland majority
English

@Smartworld05 @Kene_Nnewi You don’t even know what you’re saying, and it’s funny how you’re arguing based on what you “thought,” meanwhile, the Omambala area was called “Olu,” while Anambala was from Idemmili down to Awka, and Oyi.
Please don’t delve into history & geography you don’t know about.
English

@Smartworld05 Na why Hitler they always use force to talk..😭😂
English

@nzemmili @Kene_Nnewi Don't say the majority of present day Anambra. The term Anambra was used by the ọmambala , Anam, etc. (riverine) area of present day Anambra state not the whole of Anambra.
Nnewi was a Powerful Kingdom with its own origin story; so as okija , Ozubulu, ihiala etc.
English

@Smartworld05 @Kene_Nnewi Bia nwoke m, the more you speak, the more ignorant you sound, especially to us who has always been Anambra before the colonists came.
Majority of Anambra today were calls Anambala way before the colonists came. Stop lying to yourself. Why not mention Idemmili, Omambala?
English

@Comrade_Kamara 😂 I was learning the German language before.
lolz danke means "thanks"
Nah muscle you go the use to speak German 😁
English

@Smartworld05 😂 na only meim kampf I know oo... Ogini bu danke in German
Deutsch

@nzemmili @Kene_Nnewi The Imperial Africa photo shows 'Anambara country'. Yes, the word Anambra has colonial roots since the late 1800s and early 1900s. But it referred only to the riverine Anam clan area along the Omambala River, not today's Anambra State with Nnewi, Ozubulu, Ihiala etc.
igbo bu igbo
English

@Smartworld05 @Kene_Nnewi Be consoling yourself by claiming Anambra is a new thing
x.com/nzemmili/statu…
Nze@nzemmili
Anambra isn’t a new creation. Present day Anambara has been called Anambra for over 100yrs. There’s a reason our elders talked about Anambra.
