The broadcast networks have specific standards to which they have to adhere that do not apply to cable networks. Easiest example: you can't use profanity on the broadcast networks. You should educate yourself on FCC licensing. The Democrats went after the cable networks, who again, do not have the same standards. So, it begs the question: why did they go after them?
