I’m seeing all of your comments about the photo from Saturday’s UFC event and all I can say is that I’m devastated.   I was there to see the fights and when I was walking through the venue, the Tate brothers stood up and said hello and that’s when the exchanged happened.  I did not know them or about them before that moment.   I’ll never pretend to be a perfect person but let me be crystal clear,  I do not know the Tate brothers nor do I support them in any way.

It looks really bad right now. But… 2015: the Mets lost 7 straight and scored 9 total runs. 2018: 11-1 start and Mickey Callaway was the second coming of Gil Hodges. 2024: 11 games under on May 29. 2025: the best team in MLB in mid June. Way too early to declare anything.

We are going on nearly 40 years without a championship. That is the reality, and Mets fans are exhausted from hearing excuses while watching the same results. You had a winning core and it was torn apart, replaced with aging, declining players who are past their prime and not moving the needle. Meanwhile, this team carries one of the highest payrolls in all of baseball, yet the product on the field looks completely disconnected from that investment. There is no more patience left for spin or deflection. Mets fans show up, we care, and we’ve stuck with this franchise through decades of disappointment—but what we’re seeing now is unacceptable. At some point, accountability has to exist at the top. The GM decisions, the roster construction, and the direction of this team all fall under leadership—and right now it is not good enough. This franchise deserves better. The fans deserve better. And continuing down this path is not an option anymore.

Nobody likes to lose but I saw some “ green shoots tonight “. On offense, Lindor had two hits including a home run. Bichette got a double hitting it to left field as opposed to recently being right field prone. Benge got a solid hit. Soto started his running progression today. Semien hit a shot that might have been a home run on a warmer night. Finally, Nolan McLean pitched an outstanding game going 7 innings. Hang in there fans, we will turn this around !
