With the start of our focus on DNA, we transformed ourselves into the individual nucleotides that combine to form the polymer structure. Base pairs, hydrogen bonds, covalent bonds and antiparallel strands all represented. #RHSScience #DNA🧬 @RHSRaiders @dentonisd

Finding change in mass and egg circumference after soaking in a hypertonic corn syrup solution for 24-48 hours. Now to explain why and how the change happened before switching the egg to a new solution of distilled water and another 48 hour soak. To be continued… 🥚

Mr. French’s Biology classes started learning about lipids today and their function in forming the cell membrane. Followed that up with building the membrane on their class wall cell model. Will be fun to see the model grow through the year. #RHSScience @RHSRaiders @dentonisd
