The cybersecurity mistake I see in 80% of Nigerian startups & projects. They focus on advanced threats while neglecting BASIC ACCESS CONTROL. Here’s what I teach @Spraditech cybersecurity students first: Most breaches here start with: • Default passwords (admin/admin) • Unchanged cloud service credentials • Shared logins across teams • No MFA on email & admin panels You don’t need expensive tools to fix this. You need discipline and awareness. Simple starter protocol I recommend: Enforce MFA on ALL admin accounts Use a password manager (Bitwarden/1Password) Regular access reviews – who REALLY needs what?
