We hope our Year 6 children have an amazing time at Bendrigg.

To celebrate World Book Day we shared our favourite stories.

We will continue to collect bottle tops to be recycled, helping to promote sustainability and a greener future. Thank you, HAHN Plastics, for being a valuable partner to our school! Please send in any plastic bottle tops and we will pass them to HAHN plastics to be recycled 😀

Domestic Abuse Support. Reports indicate that domestic abuse cases often increase during the Christmas period with last year’s figures showing a 15% spike in calls to helplines and refuges over the Christmas period.

This week, the children in Fireflies class have enjoyed going to the school library. They have worked hard to choose a book, sit with an adult and answer questions.

This week in Hedgehogs class, the children have been exploring the Stick Man story. They looked at the part of the story where there is a snowman.

This week in Ants class, the children attended a silent disco. They loved showing off their dancing and listening to the music in their Christmas jumpers.

This week in Elm class the children have been working really hard to sort and match our colours independently and use symbols to label them. They have also been mark making in flour using different tools and their hands.
