Lenten Friday 10p trail 🤩👏🏻

Our Lenten Friday activity tomorrow is the 10p trail ( any silver coins appreciated) 🤩 and House Walk! Remember to bring your £1 for dressing down in your house colours 💛💚❤️💙!!

Today P2/1 explored traditional wooden toy soldiers with red jackets and black top hats. We talked about how these toys were often handmade and very unique, and compared them with the toys we play with today. The children then designed their own colourful toy soldiers! 🎨

P2/1 have been learning about toys from the past 🧸We explored the first teddy bear that was made over 100 years ago, spotting similarities and differences with the bears we have today. Inspired by this, they created traditional bears with a unique Build-a-Bear style tummy ⭐️

Great teamwork from P6 as they collaborated in their political parties! Canvassing, posters and rosettes all being designed and created 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿#scottishparliament

P6 have been working very hard writing their own manifestos as part of their Scottish Parliament topic 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿we are looking forward to the class elections next week #scottishparliament

‼️ P6 boys - can you please wear PE kit and bring football trainers, shin guards and heavy jacket as there is a football game tomorrow. Players will be chosen in the morning ⚽️
