JD Vance just flew to Budapest to personally back the one EU leader who spent a phone call calling Putin “lion” and himself Putin’s little “mouse.” The axis of useful idiots is having a very busy week.

NEW: Vice President Vance delivers a message in Budapest about the "moral cooperation" between the United States and Hungary, under the leadership of President Trump and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. "There is so much that unites the United States and Hungary, and unfortunately, there have been too few people who have been willing to stand up for the values of Western civilization."

JD Vance is in Budapest interfering in the Hungarian elections: The EU is responsible for “one of the worst examples of foreign election interference that I have ever seen.” “The bureaucrats in Brussels [who] have tried to destroy the economy of Hungary.” “They’ve done it all because they hate this guy,” he adds, calling their involvement “disgraceful.” “I won’t tell the people of Hungary how to vote. I would encourage the bureaucrats in Brussels to do the exact same thing.” He tells Hungarian voters they should consider “not who is pro- or anti-Europe, who is pro- or anti-US, but who is pro-you and pro-the people of Hungary.” “And my experience, I have seen a guy who is ferociously advocated for the interests of Hungary.” On Ukraine, he praises Viktor Orbán directly: “Viktor has been a great part of it,” adding that Hungary is “a place of real statesmanship” and “a positive force for peace.” Orbán’s leadership has been “far, far more important and constructive… than almost anyone, anywhere else in the world.”

During an October call with Vladimir Putin, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban promised to help Russia "in any way” he can. Read the full transcript. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
