If you’re sending me a message could you please write it in either full English or full Thaana ތާނަ, cause reading latin Dhivehi is a little difficult for me and time consuming. Different people write it differently, no consistency. Full English/Thaana saves a lot of time. Especially if it’s a long message. If I get a long messGe in Latin Dhivehi, I usually keep it for later and sometimes forget about it. Cause so many DMs everyday.

A system that rewards loyalty over accountability weakens governance at its core. When ministers can wield real power without ever facing a vote or public scrutiny, it strips away legitimacy and moral authority. Authority should come from the people and be sustained through transparency and accountability…not proximity to power. As it stands, this structure makes it far too easy for responsibility to be avoided while influence is concentrated. That simply doesn’t make sense in any system that claims to be democratic.

The presidential system, as it stands, rewards loyalty over accountability. The cabinet becomes a collection of the @presidencymv’s most loyal bootlickers. Ministers need not ever face a vote to wield the powers of government. No legitimacy. No moral authority. How does this make any sense?
