American taxpayers are funding residency programs… while American medical graduates get squeezed out and foreign graduates get the spots. This is one of the biggest immigration + healthcare scandals in the country. My conversation with @MaryBowdenMD is live now youtu.be/rYTN5pY_WA4 I also tackle why a birthright citizenship/census theft bill is even more important than SAVE Act.

Reminder, after a year straight of solid bitching from @LeaderJohnThune that he needs 60 votes to do anything conservative voters want, today, in a Pro Forma Session, that is happening for the sole purpose of stopping President Trump from appointing the rest of his administration, mostly Federal State Attorney's, the Senator's participating in this Pro Forma session, will have the single, sole ability,to pass the House Bill to fund DHS for 2 months. A Bill that Thune said that he didn't have the votes to pass, will now be accepted or rejected by one single Senator.

I’m just going to refer to the Senate as the House of Lords from now on and see if my editors even notice.

We owe $8,000 to the IRS because we withdrew money to take care of my wife's mother to move her near us so we can take care of her. Do you know how hard it is to see these stories showing the fraud and corruption taking place with our tax money when writing the check?

☀️AM: REPUBLICANS DHS MESS Let’s be abundantly clear — this record-breaking, 44-day DHS funding impasse has turned into a political disaster for Republicans. At one point, Republicans seemed to be breaking through with their message that Democrats instigated the DHS fight over undocumented immigrants. But now, House and Senate Republicans are publicly warring with each other over who’s at fault for last week’s debacle. The GOP-run Congress has left town until mid-April, while President Donald Trump was forced to issue an executive order to pay TSA employees. ... This episode illustrates how adrift the GOP-run Congress is when Trump remains on the sidelines. Trump was completely silent about the Senate’s proposal, although his staff was telling lawmakers he approved. When it became clear that the House would reject it, Trump sided with them. ... But now the House Republican Conference has ownership of the impasse. Johnson’s rejection of Thune’s approach ensures that the next two weeks will be all about how GOP infighting is prolonging the shutdown. punchbowl.news/archive/33026-…
