We released Quarkus 3.17 which comes with improvements to observability and programmatic permission checkers. The REST Clients were updated to MicroProfile REST Client 4.0. The next minor will be 3.18 released at the end of January. buff.ly/4eLbzEx

We released Quarkus 3.2.3, with some additional bugfixes. It also upgrades Hibernate Search to 6.2 for official compatibility with Elasticsearch 8. Once again, we highly recommend the upgrade to Quarkus 3 (quarkus update to the rescue!). buff.ly/3YnA1pc

@dynaxis Java 21 is the minimum set by Jakarta EE 11. Tomcat 11 implements the Servlet, Pages, EL and WebSocket specs from Jakarta EE 11.
With the June 2023 releases, virtual thread support will be available on all Tomcat versions (8.5.x, 9.0.x, 10.1.x and 11.0.x) when running on Java 21.
