@Streamlight Been carrying one of your pocket lights for years, couple of the 2L, a 2AA, and now a 2L-X. I think I have a protac 2L somewhere I dropped off a grain bin and broke the lens out of, if I can find it is that something yall could fix?

8+ years, countless drops, rough shifts, every kind of weather. New batteries and this light still shines like day one. Scuffed up but still unstoppable.

"I’ve been carrying the stream light DSL for over 8 years in my law enforcement career and it has never let me down. In October of 2023, myself along with 4 of my partners were shot while executing a search warrant (everyone survived, thank god). I was hit 3 times with rifle fire. One of the rounds struck my stream light which deflected the path of the bullet, most likely avoiding it being a fatal shot to me. The stream light was positioned on the right side of the of my chest, in my vest and deflected the bullet enough that it didn’t penetrate into my chest straight on. The flashlight still works like it’s brand new and I will carry it every day as a reminder of how this could be the reason I’m still alive today.
