What is it that makes the German footballing figure ok with being political in Qatar but avoid it when it comes to America or Israel
Joshua Kimmich says he has no intention of being involved in any political debates surrounding the World Cup in the US: "Having no opinion isn't the solution. Each of us inevitably has a personal stance on certain topics, and I, too, have certain values I stand by. But at the same time, it's difficult to express this opinion in the role of a footballer or captain of the national team. Just because you have an opinion doesn't make you an expert. It's the responsibility of politicians or associations to take a position on such topics. Political situations, in particular, are often difficult to assess – even for people who deal with them professionally. The entire football world came together to troll and drag them through the mud for daring to be political. So I find it nonsensical to be surprised that they no longer want to make political statements. You bullied them, and it worked. What's the fuss?
Have you guys seen the World Cup schedule?. There are basically no morning or afternoon games… just evenings and sleepless nights 😭
Separation of church and state is just for Christians I guess 🤔
