FIFTY FIFTY’s Chanelle Moon takes part in a Weverse World Cup music curation feature, sharing “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” by Shakira as a song tied to her childhood memories of playing soccer with friends. “I still vividly remember singing along to this song while playing soccer with my friends when I was younger. Every time I hear it, it takes me right back to those fun memories and the excitement we shared back then. One of the things I love most about this song is the message in the lyrics about picking yourself back up when you fall. That message has always meant a lot to me. On a l’habitude des ambassadeurs qui sont du milieu de l’esport ou du gaming, là c’est bien au-delà. Le groupe FIFTY FIFTY c’est 👇 - 900 000 abonnés sur instagram - 6,9 millions d’auditeurs mensuels - Premier groupe de K-pop féminin à atteindre la tête du classement Billboard Global Excl US Bref, c’est un vrai levier de notoriété. En Corée, les audiences esport/K-pop sont plutôt proches (jeunes, connectées, logique de consommation similaire ). Et développer des partenariats est une façon très intéressante pour continuer à positionner l’esport comme du divertissement ouvert à tous.

T1 a l’habitude de travailler avec des groupes de K-pop, ils avaient notamment fait une collaboration avec le groupe BTS. L’objectif derrière tout ça est clair : S’adresser à une audience qui a toutes les caractéristiques pour aimer l’esport, mais qui ne l’a pas encore découvert. Et cette collaboration avec les groupes de K-pop permet de toucher cette cible.
