For all the critics and abusers of my post, I have a question: In the last 20 years the USD lost 50% of its purchasing power. How do you explain it using the professor's post? Do Americans feel they lost 50% of their savings? Should, starting from Bush & Obama to Biden & Trump be regime changed stating this fact before every 5 years to Americans creating anarchy? Would that have fixed USD's purchasing power depreciation by 50% in 20 years? It would have rather depreciated it further and caused more economic troubles for the people. Indians earn, save, spend & live in INR. Most critics to my post ignore this basic fact and scream "imports are in dollars" as if India is a dollar economy. It isn’t. You buying iPhones and going on foreign vacations doesn't mean "All Indians savings have halved due to INR depreciation." If you want to believe this misrepresentation you are simply ideological and not rational. Yes, some imports do cost more nominally. That's for India as a country. But India also exports, and it is increasing at a fast clip, and India is right now capturing market share in world's exports. Controlled inflation in a fast-growing economy is normal. INR will lose value over time domestically. Nothing wrong about it. It's exactly like how the USD lost 32% purchasing power in the same 15 years of Modi regime. How do you explain that? Savings used in India didn’t suddenly halve. That’s not economics, that’s selective fear mongering. The same voices will flip to "inflation is the real issue" the day INR starts appreciating. That day is not far either.

Forget about KalaBhairava, even 99.9999% cannot do Sadhana of Kapaleeshwaran of Chennai. You CAN however safely worship that Deity though and do Sadhana of Shiva quite well with the most significant effect being a mental peace which is quite profound. In reality though, if that Deity (Shiva also appears or somehow bestows Kripa) the sadhaka will NOT be able to easily take it, even a good sadhaka will quail.. it’s Mahadev after all. Difference is that it won’t cause you harm, it won’t finish off your mundane normal life like the higher Ugra Devatas.. (this finishing off of the normal life is a compassionate view according to the Devata, as this world is impermanent and you will lose everything at death anyway… so this kshana, this very moment itself, all the bad karmas the sadhaka has done in past lifetimes will come into the (Karana) Shareer immediately and the person will suffer and the usual side effect is that the person will start leaving the house to sit in the burning ground because that’s where the effect will cease as watching the funeral pyres burn will partially ease the suffering - the so called Bhairava Yatana is something comparable hence someone who has had NO suffering will not even have reached the baseline of worship of Bhairava never mind the pinnacle). As I have said earlier, proof of the pudding is in the eating. mmpandit.wordpress.com/2022/01/25/dri…

Around 6 years back I did a long anusthana of Devi Bagla. I remember it really well because just prior to that anusthana, I was discussing something in Pizza Hut in B’ham and that’s when I thought let me do it. Anyway… during the sadhana literally nothing happened. Right? Right? 👇🏻 Wrong! On the last night of sadhana, that night, after anusthana I had a deep tired sleep. Early morning I had a dream. What is the dream? In the dream, my door bell in England rings. I open the door. In the dream, a friend of mine from school, a senior, well known from Pune, just dead some time prior to that anusthana (so won’t take the name here)… is at the door and comes in. Puts on the light. With him, he was holding her hand, was who? But my kid sister… And he says… ‘See, she is well now… I got her to England also and now you don’t need to worry’. Anyway… this dead person in the dream was a Christian friend who had died suddenly … like really suddenly. Reminded me in 2023 of that Dhyana of Baglamukhi —- remember where she sits on a Preta and controls the entire Jagat of dead and living. Few years later, sister normal and all things considered, that’s impossible to comprehend for me also. So…. Jai Ma Baglamukhi!

My wife wanted a German Shepherd puppy for Valentine’s Day after struggling deeply with the pain of never being able to become a mother. We went to adopt a puppy and met little Luna. But when we picked her up to leave, her mother cried in heartbreak. My wife started crying too. So instead of taking just the puppy, we brought both Luna and her mother home together. ❤️

This is not a "real story". This is just a story. Indians earn, save, and spend in INR. This sort of misrepresentation, coming from a professor, seems purposefully creating fear, uncertainty, and doubt. The USD itself has lost ~32% of its purchasing power in the last 15 years. This is because of inflation. Controlled inflation (under 5-6%) is considered normal and even healthy for a growing economy. A fast growing economy like India tends to have higher inflation naturally. In fact, central bankers and finance ministers get worried if inflation drops too low. Focusing only on the nominal USD rate without this context is purposefully misleading. So while INR has lost its purchasing power, it is natural just like the USD has lost its purchasing power. Someone's savings in India, to be used in India, suddenly doesn't become 50% less due to USD/INR rate increase. One day in the coming time, INR will suddenly start appreciating against the USD quickly. Then what will they say? They will change the attack to "inflation" then. These are the same people talking about de-dollarization and USD "crashing soon" as well. So assuming they are right, if suddenly we wake up to 1 USD = 50 INR, did every Indian become twice as rich in the night? Because its GDP and GDP per capita is suddenly 2x now in USD terms? No. The real story is, for those who can understand these things and see the pattern, there's an orchestrated attempt from a large network of anti-establishment types to fear monger and incite Indians to try cause political and economic instability in India.

Instead of a cold tombstone, this actor buried his mother’s memory in thousands of blooming trees When his mother passed on, Sayaji Shinde gathered indigenous seeds equal to her body weight, and planted them. Today, those seeds have grown into vast forests: breathing life, giving shade, bearing fruit, and sheltering birds He says his mother still lives with him… in every rustling leaf and fragrant flower 🥹❤️ Isn’t it a meaningful way to honor someone you love?

Giampaolo Tomassetti spent 12 years inside the Mahabharata and painted it like he lived it. The book is called Mahabharata: Indian Art Series. I keep it on my coffee table. Every time I flip through it, I’m reminded what happens when someone gives a decade of their life to a single idea.

A glimpse of Kashi in Rome! Mr. Giampaolo Tomassetti, an Italian painter, presented his work on Varanasi. His passion for Indian culture goes back over four decades. In the 1980’s he started as an illustrator for books on Vedic culture. From 2008 to 2013 he worked on 23 large paintings relating to the Mahabharat.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently issued a sharp rebuke to the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), expressing dissatisfaction with senior diplomats for their slow, cautious, and narrow approach to international relations. The appointment of Dinesh Trivedi as India’s Ambassador to Bangladesh signaled this shift, highlighting a move toward more strategically calibrated appointments. The core criticism centers on "diplomatic vectoring" a tendency to reduce diplomacy to routine courtesies, cultural events, and bureaucratic rituals rather than substantive strategic engagement. This inertia, observed in both veteran and younger officers, is seen as a structural fault line that hinders India’s global ambitions and doctrine of strategic autonomy. To address this, the government is advocating for a transition to "Smart Power Diplomacy." This model demands a "whole of government" approach, where officers move beyond siloed operations to build deep, resilient networks and actively engineer pathways for India’s strategic and economic interests. The message from the top is clear: the era of "photo op diplomacy" is over. The IFS must now replace bureaucratic routine with intellectual sharpness and purposeful urgency to match India’s accelerating rise on the global stage.

Great question! 🙏 Let me cover a couple of angles. First, stories from Puranas/Upanishads are metaphors for inner truths unfolding within us at different times. Surya, Chandra & Brihaspati personify soul, mind & wisdom/intellect (धी). A Male Devata & his consort stand for potential & kinetic aspects of a specific type of energy. As Brihaspati stands for wisdom, his consort Tara Devi stands for the application of that wisdom, i.e. putting wisdom to use (kinetic aspect). Naturally, "mind" (Chandra) is drawn to "putting wisdom to use" (Tara). When they come together, "learning ability & scholarship" (personified by Budha) is born. So this isn't a story of an affair/incest, but of subtle play happening within different aspects of consciousness!! BTW, Brihasparti not only held no grudge against Chandra or Tara, but accepted Budha as his his own son and taught him (i.e. wisdom is what informs our learning ability & scholarship)! In fact, Brihaspati is the greatest guru (Jupiter in our charts shows how Guru tattva works within us) and Budha is the greatest sishya (Buidha in our charts shows how well we learn & comprehend things). The fact that their relationship in Jyotish is that of Shatru/Sama (enemy/neutral) is more related to the functions played by wisdom and learning ability. Secondly, why is Brihaspati exalted in Karkataka? Well, moolatrikona and exaltation sign of a planet are akin to one's place of work (office) and one's favorite hangout. Brihaspati has moolatrikona in Dhanus, the 9th house of dharma of natural zodiac. Upholding dharma is where he works. But Kartkataka is the 4th house of peace and comfort, in the natural zodiac. Wisdom loves being at ease and relaxing. That's why he's exalted there. BTW, note that Mangal, who personifies the aggression & fire in the belly (to get things done) within us, is debilitated in Karkataka. No wonder, because the fire/aggression want to work and not relax. So 4th house of natural zodiac (Karkataka) is the debilitation sign and 10th house (action, work!) of natural zodiac (Makara) is the exaltation sign. BTW, Budha has both moolatrikona and exaltation sign in Kanya, the 6th house of quarrels & challenges in the natural zodiac. Obviously, the learning ability & scholarship in us loves challenges & it's also its assigned duty. Hope these freewheeling thoughts help! 🙏🙏
