Traditionally the imperial power defends its client states and territories… hence all the American Military bases in Europe post World war 2. It was always the American goal to supersede Europe, they did. Suez was mostly the end of European independent hard power after the US threatened the British and French. Plus all the decolonisation via US/UN, world war 2 lease agreements etc. While I deplore the state of Europe and the U.K. and how far we’ve let things fall, this is ultimately what the US wanted, a pacified Europe.

@Landeur Europe basically has no functioning blue water navy, and the few ships they collectively have that are sea worthy cannot defend their own tankers in Hormuz because they don’t have the necessary tech. So how was NATO the American empire?

When @RupertLowe10 announced #RestoreBritain as a political party in Feb 2026, hype & online frenzy exploded. Alex Phillips predicted the hysteria & support wave would quickly fade, just a passing fad & would fade. It clearly hasn’t.

This is what boomers fail to get, they broke the social contract and fucked it for the future generations. They didn’t have enough kids, flooded our countries with foreigners, overregulated and deindustrialised the economy and they have the absolute gaul to wonder why they’re getting flak from younger generations. The only generation to leave the country worse off for their kids and grandkids.

@Tinebobagain These obligations were made a time when the culture was homogeneous , and it was assumed that the population pyramid would never be so inverted as it is today. Births are rock bottom, old people live longer in a worse condition. The stats just don't add up anymore.

There is a big fucking problem with the youth on the right. They despise their elderly. Too stupid to realise that one day they will be elderly and despised 10 fold. Idiotic behaviour.

Wealthiest generation to ever exist… jeez the cope is real. Boo hoo we had to do things that every one has had to do. The Boomers parents literally fought a global war for their children, what did you do for us? Threw it away and pulled up the ladder in front of your own children and grandchildren. No Jobs, fucked demographics, no houses. Face it, every generation left a better world for their children except boomers, you fucked it and you can’t take responsibility, because you’re either blind or you did too much cocaine in the 60’s and became thick as shit.

For those that appear to begrudge pensioners their state pension just remember that the majority of these people worked from the age of 16yrs until retirement paying their taxes. Compare that to today when there are millions on benefits not paying any taxes but will still receive a state pension. Also the state pension is well below the living wage & yet a lot of pensioners are expected to get by with no additional help unlike people on benefits.

What he doesn’t seem to grasp is that every previous generation left a better world for their children, boomers on the other hand, destroyed our country, our economy, our demographics and sucked up and continue to suck up the wealth. They are the odd ones out in history, the most entitled and selfish generation to exist who just don’t care about the legacy that was handed to them by their own forebears to look after and in turn pass on. It’s fucked up.

“I grew up during the Cuban Missile Crisis, 3-day week… we had nothing, but didn’t blame our elders.” Cool story. But back then houses were 3-4 times salary or less—now it’s 9-10 times. Jobs? You walked into factories or offices straight out of school. We grind gig after gig, still can’t buy a house. So yeah, tough times existed—but you didn’t face today’s locked-out property ladder. Don’t gloat over sending us to wars while your generation is quite litterally the wealthiest generation to ever inhabit this planet. Own the difference.

Why? Just why? There are serious, real-world problems facing this country right now, and instead, they’re busy arranging tea parties for pensioners. Not only is this a waste of time and money that could be spent elsewhere—but more importantly, why wasn’t I invited? I love a good cup of tea.

I am with the young British men and women who feel crushed under inflated house prices, stagnating wages, record tax burden and just generally a really piss-poor standard of living that is falling embarrassingly far behind countries we once competed with. My question to them is this... Is the status quo what you want? Because if it is, there are a variety of parties to vote for. If you want something radically different, and I mean radically, then Restore Britain is giving you that option. Ask yourself - does the current model work for you? Commuting two plus hours a day from some pokey flat in a part of London that increasingly resembles the third world? All to get taxed out of your arse for a job you hate, with no prospect of starting your own business or owning your own home because the rotten state takes so much of your cash? It is an awful deal. Earn a bit more money? Bang. Gone. Student loan. Paying hundreds each month just to keep on top of the interest. Initial loan never getting paid off, it just creeps up and up. Gather enough capital to start a small business? That’s a different world of pain. Regulations, taxes, an environment designed to bury any enthusiasm to build something better. It is just not worth the risk. HMRC takes such pleasure in making it as difficult as possible. Honestly, I hate those people so much. Young tradesmen and women all over Britain waking up at 5am, working 12 hours plus every day. Why? For what? For who? Losing almost half your earnings to fund some indolent slob who refuses to work? It’s not exactly the American dream, is it? Want children? One? Two? More? Childcare costs thousands and thousands a year. It’s unaffordable. It’s impossible. So, depressingly, many don’t even bother. What about a home? Ludicrous leasehold rules mean you’re just paying rent up front for decades. Getting screwed on the service changes that soar with no consultation. House prices booming whilst wages fall behind. The mountain to climb gets bigger and bigger. It is endless. Yet you’re told by people who bought their house for 40k and got university education for free that cutting down on the cappuccinos will solve all of your financial problems. Politicians like Farage tell you working from home is the problem, and that seeking a ‘work-life balance’ is somehow selfish. It is bullshit, to be honest. And I am fed up of it. It stinks. There’s this prevailing attitude with many people of my age that young men and women are lazy and refuse to put the hours in. That’s just not true. The system is crushing you. It kills ambition and suffocates aspiration. It all needs to change. All of it. Restore Britain doesn't want to reform the establishment, we want to smash it up. And yes, that will include a meaningful debate about a triple lock which creates division between the young and the old - because it simply isn’t financially sustainable in its current form. Restore Britain will have the courage to do what needs to be done, I promise you that. If you want more of the same - vote for it. Tories, Reform, Labour, Lib Dem. Go for it. Your choice. Same faces, same model, same decay. The Greens want to accelerate our transformation into a third world dump. If that’s what you want for Britain, Polanski is your man. Certainly don’t vote for Restore Britain. Because we are offering something entirely new. You now have a political party that is willing to take the difficult decisions to give you the opportunities that my generation had to achieve that same financial freedom so many of my age enjoy. Restore Britain is that party. We want a fundamentally different economic model. One that gives young British men and women the freedom to pursue their own goals - whether that’s building their family, business or own financial freedom. That’s what we’re about. We are going to be honest, and we are going to take the difficult decisions required to benefit us all, that very much includes the young Brits who for their entire lives have been ripped off by a decadent political establishment that cares about votes, and only votes. Restore Britain will treat you all with the respect and honesty you deserve. There is a political party that is finally your side. Restore Britain is on your side.

This, This! I just want to raise a family, in a safe environment, but saving for a house in the south east is killing us. Friends up north can afford a 4 bed for the price of a 2 bed down here. It’s untenable.
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

Restore Britain is the party for young British men and women who are treated like a piece of dirt on the shoe. We will cut your taxes, enable you to buy a home, help you to raise a family and deport the third world sex pests harassing you in your towns. We are on your side.

Day after day Reform betrays its supposed base even more, but sure, it’s Restore who are the jealous ones lmao.
Claire Adams@claire_adams694

Restore: A Protest Party Built On Jealousy As the bots and bad faith actors attack me daily, the abuse tells its own story. I will not repeat most of it, because I refuse to sink to that level, but I have seen it. Racist slurs, bile directed at Reform candidates, especially if those candidates are Jewish or Muslim. The irony is, they never attack the left, why is that? I have been told I am not preserving my bloodline, that my mixed raced foster child should be “in the jungle”, and that I should be deported back because of my Ukrainian and Danish heritage. Back where exactly? My parents and I were born here, I’m going nowhere! That is the level of delusional rhetoric coming from the fringe elements tied to this movement. And now we see the reality behind it. An email sent to supporters admitting they are not ready. No candidates at scale, no real infrastructure, no national capability. Yet still attacking others while claiming they will sweep the country. It has been noise all along. A protest party formed out of fallout, driven by grievance and jealousy, not leadership or delivery. Even the big headline policies do not stand up. Mass deportation pushed as a slogan, but when you actually look for substance, there is no clear plan, no legal framework, no delivery model. Championing deportations in rhetoric while having no credible way to carry them out. You can not attack others for delivery while admitting you can’t even stand properly yourself. Just an apparent safe location their one MP is It is easy to have big ideas when you carry no responsibility!!!
