So what did Democrats accomplish by shutting down DHS for over 40 days? They failed to shut down immigration law enforcement at ICE - which was their goal. 1) They abused TSA and other government workers - making their lives miserable - putting some in financial ruin that forced them to quit their jobs. 2) They made the lives of millions of American travelers miserable and upended their plans - with zero apologies. 3) They proved they put illegal aliens above American citizens again. That message should now be driven home to ALL Americans.
