I just saw the news that Tessa Blanchard has requested and been granted her release from TNA. She is now a free agent and can sign wherever she wants. That means every major promotion is now on the table, including WWE and AEW. There's no question that Tessa Blanchard is one of the best female wrestlers in the game. Her talent has never been the issue. The problem is that her controversial past continues to follow her wherever she goes. For that reason alone, I have a hard time seeing WWE taking the risk right now. They seem more likely to steer clear of the situation altogether. Tony Khan and AEW might be more willing to consider it, but even then, AEW has worked hard to rebuild momentum recently. Bringing in a figure as polarizing as Tessa could create a level of controversy the company may not want to deal with. So that leaves the obvious question: Where does she go? What do you think?

@WrestleIsh 2006 viewership was not 5.1 million. The last time WWE got consistent 5 million ratings was 2000. RAW has been averaging 2-2.5 since 2004 and has steadily dropped since. Smackdown even worse. Never higher than 2.2 million. Has dropped since. Dunno where you get your figures from
