UPN Presents £4,500 to St Giles Hospice United Pallet Network has reinforced its commitment to community support by donating £4,500 to St Giles Hospice, following its recent annual awards. This latest contribution brings UPN’s total donations to the hospice to over £24,000 since the partnership began in 2020. The funds were raised through UPN’s charity raffle and auction, held as part of its annual awards celebrations. For UPN, giving back to the community is a core part of its ethos as a responsible corporate citizen. Zoe Wright, Partnerships Manager at St Giles Hospice, said: "We’re very grateful for UPN’s recent donation and our long-standing partnership. With less than a quarter of our funds provided by the Government, we rely heavily on donations and the generosity of our community and corporate partners, to help us deliver our care. Their ongoing support helps us to continue to be there for local people, and their loved ones, when they need us most." David Brown, Managing Director at UPN, said: “Supporting St Giles Hospice is more than a donation, it’s about making a tangible difference to families in our local area. We’re proud to continue this partnership and to play our part in helping such an essential organisation deliver care and comfort when it’s needed most.” Since its inception in 2001 UPN has consistently championed charitable causes, recognising that a strong, engaged business can help strengthen the communities it serves. Contributions like these ensure that St Giles Hospice can continue to provide care and support for local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness. St Giles Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care, free of charge, for people living with terminal illnesses across Staffordshire, North Birmingham and surrounding areas. They spend close to £10 million a year providing specialist services.
