Meetup #vibecoding. This time we challenged ourselves not to look at the code and rely purely on “vibe coding” while building a Tamagotchi application (#throwback). This led to interesting insights, and faster (not better) coding. Unfortunately, not all Tamagotchi's survived ;-)

Last friday, we had our annual #Techforce1 Christmas dinner at Kasteel Amerongen. Together with our colleagues and their partners, we looked back on a fantastic year, filled with great assignments, personal growth, social events, and technical sessions.

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of taking an introductory diving course organized by OBA. Nicolette and Stephanie guided us on an underwater journey where we became familiar with the water, and our breathing. Now the short movie is ready, have fun! youtu.be/5EEXrvtWu9w

#Techforce1 workshop: Yesterday we had another great technical session, this time about Service Meshes. Our colleagues Marco van Kimmenaede and Sem den Broeder took us on a deep dive into the technology, its pros and cons, and troubleshooting it. #ServiceMesh #Istio #Linkerd

Because soft skills are just as important as technical expertise, we organized a social skills session last Monday. Akerendam provided us with valuable insights to further enhance our skills. To round off the day, we enjoyed a BBQ workshop at the BBQ Experience Center.

Workshop #Techforce1: Functional Programming (with #Haskell). Ron Boortman and Lennart van der Garde prepared an interesting workshop on functional programming specifically with Haskell. A nice way to discover new concepts.

Last Thursday we hosted our 6th and annual internal conference. A fantastic day which we hosted together with our other labels @FortWierickerschans. Items on the agenda: a.o. Talos & Cillium, JavaScript Module Systems & build tools, Machine Learning & AI, Pulumi etc.

#Techforce1 boardgame day: last Saturday we had our boardgame day in Arnhem. Spelkwartier was so kind to host our 2024 session! We had a real good time playing Dungeons and Dragons, and several other board games. We are already looking forward to the next one!

Workshop #Techforce1: This week we had our Pulumi workshop. Our colleagues Marco van Kimmenaede and Jeroen Admiraal talked about the possibilities of this upcoming technology. Great session and interesting to see how it compares to things like, for example, hashtag#Terraform!

Saturday we had a #Techforce1 activity together with all the partners of our colleagues. We had a great night @ Scala | foodbar & theater in Amsterdam. With really good food, performances and lots of laughs because of @ThomGerrits, @DevinHillenius and @RubevanTienen.

#Techforce1 had an amazing time at @KubeCon Paris, catching up with the latest innovations and insights in the world of Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies. We attended inspiring talks and left the conference with a lot of interesting perspectives. #Kubernetes #cloudnative

After our @Techforce1_nl meetup we had a little playtime during a fencing clinic given by Break Schermclinics. We are all ready for the Olympic Games at Paris now.

Yesterday we had a @Techforce1_nl meetup about @golang, given by our colleques Ron Boortman & Zino Onomiwo. The workshop was a dive into the world of Go programming language. "What is GoLang? Why would you want to learn/use GoLang? What are the strengths and features of GoLang?"
