Yall are being so obtuse. The issue is NOT about female characters being soft or kind. I love that. But the issue is when that is the ONLY story told for women. Men are allowed to be murderers - and kind (wrio), or soft and bitter (Neuvilette). Women aren't given that story.

to go from powerful/intimidating to “just a girl” IS the problem. Columbina Furina, Mavuika, Citlali, Sandrone, Ei, Zibai they all have this common theme of being powerful/mean/strong and their stories being “actually they’re just misunderstood and they’re actually really nice!”
