The ladies are getting a wellness pavilion! Thanks to the generosity of Cobb and Douglas Public Health, our ladies now have a space dedicated to yoga, meditation, and wellness. This will be a fantastic addition to our campus as a safe space to heal❤️🩹

Yesterday an amazing crew from Keller Williams braved the weather and planted some gorgeous herbs at the women's campus and organized their clothing closet! 🌧️🌱 They were incredibly dedicated to following through with their plan and we are so grateful for it! What a great group!

On Friday the amazing Smyrna Fire Dept. came and dropped off Narcan and fentanyl testing strips for our nurse Mary Jean. These are amazing resources that will help save lives! Thank you Smyrna Fire Department!

The Extension was honored to be a part of Rotary Club of East Cobb's 2024 Dog Days give back! We were one of many amazing organizations to receive a grant from the funds they raised in the fall, and we are so grateful their support of our life-saving work!

Happy Black History Month! The history of African Americans in our country has always been tied to recovery. From slavery and emancipation, the temperance movement, and even the war on drugs, black people continue to face roadblocks in recovery.

Yesterday, we hosted the Marietta Kiwanis Club Golden K for their weekly meeting. They got to hear about our history from Tyler, what we do today from Dan, and a tour of the new men's building! We love to engage with our community!
