@Lost_Signal If you are dropping dv port changes by default with force flags, pretty sure you don't have rbacs.

On a serious note, if you lose the argument with your security team to not do sketchy things with VM's controlling your vDS for workload VMs, mandate you have dedicated ports and a vDS that they do NOT have RBAC controls over for all storage, management, vMotion port groups.

Them: vSAN failed because we disabled LLDP/CDP Me: your terrible security software imploded and removed the port group used by it. NFS/iSCSI would have failed too.

@facebook since you don't have an option for reporting scammers anymore. There's a dozen groups like this that have currently been running for over two years, the admins are fake profiles, the sellers are fake, the reviewers are fake, and they are actively taking wire transfers

@anno1540 Genuine observation here, The videos of the immigrants detained at the border right now are not mostly from South America. Russia is using immigrants against Finland, Poland and Sweden. Would it be far fetched for someone to have dumped these people off to cause division?

Biden reacted to the Senate's failure to vote on aid to #Ukraine️ "Republicans in Congress are threatening to end support for Ukraine if they don't manage to push through their highly involved border policy. This is political blackmail, pure and simple," the US president said.

Biden on the failure of the US Senate vote on aid to #Ukraine️: The stakes are too high and the consequences are too significant "Congressional Republicans are threatening to cut off support for Ukraine if they fail to push through their highly partisan border policies. This is political blackmail, pure and simple," US President Joe Biden said . @dmytrogordon_official

@dezmondOliver considering how many ppf shops there are next door to tesla delivery/service centers and how much tesla is charging, probably.

This is a friend’s company, installing PPF just on the tailgate of a Model Y. You can see how long this takes and there are 2-3 people doing it. The entire car takes at least 2 hours. I don’t know how Tesla is going to pull this off unless they are outsourcing to a local company.

@abughazalehkat I was also on team Von Braun in Huntsville. Alas I failed my space shuttle mission by discharging a fire extinguisher without bracing myself.

when I went to space camp, all of the teams were named after Project Paperclip scientists so my group was just a bunch of 16-year-old girls chanting “VON BRAUN” whenever we got hyped up

@Lost_Signal @plankers You literally caught me shopping on boattrader. When you own a boat you just want a newer and larger one regardless of how impractical it is.

@Lost_Signal Compute for rail, power substations, anything MPF based is standard 20years. requires hardware layers of redundancy to compensate for failure rates.

About once a month someone in sales asks "Hey I have a customer who wants us to extend support to 11 years for a server" and I kinda direct them to go buy a Mainframe. It's a weird niche and IBM kinda owns it. arstechnica.com/information-te…

is there a limit to the number of times you can configure a thing online before you should just buy it to save your sanity?

@Lost_Signal @saintdle It means you get fired first when a new svp comes in that doesn't understand nor care about technology.

@Lost_Signal The buffer that allows you to cache the seat without being ticketed has a limit. When that hold expires someone else can book that seat.

@Lost_Signal So what's happening here is on flights booked in advance amex waits to book them all together as a single booking to save on transaction costs. Look at the time it took to actually confirm the flight 'ticketed' vs when you first got a confirmation.

@Lost_Signal @DeepStorageNet I was leak testing and a fitting blew out, bright red thrown on ceiling, walls, and carpets. I do clear now. Also avoid the cloudy colors due to clotting. A lot of extra work for an esxi server.
