A few days ago, the Solana meme coin sector once again made it crystal clear how Pumpfun and its surrounding ecosystem really work. Someone launched tokens like $ALONSHOUSE and $ALOXDOX on Pumpfun. They directly referenced an adress in England, the registered office address of Baton Corporation Ltd, the UK parent company behind Pump fun. Alon Cohen is listed there as Director and Person with Significant Control. So the address was already publicly visible in Companies House records. It was not taken from a private leak. The purpose was obvious: It was targeted doxxing and aimed at Pump fun cofounder Alon Cohen. Within hours, Pump fun removed the token from its platform. @Dexscreener modified the displayed metadata and changed key visible elements such as the name and banner, even though parts of the original data remained on chain. @phantom marked the token as spam and heavily restricted its visibility in wallet views and search. @solscanofficial part of the Etherscan ecosystem, stripped the metadata down to a generic “SPL Token” and added reputation warnings marking it as suspicious or a scam. Pump support reportedly described the issue only vaguely as “probably doxxing.” That is where the double standard becomes impossible to ignore.... The term “doxxing” does not even appear in Pump fun’s general token terms and conditions. It appears only in a separate livestream moderation policy that does not apply here. . There was no clear rule, no transparent process, no visible appeal path, and no published enforcement standard. Just 4 tightly connected players acting fast and in sync the moment one of their own became the target. Now compare that to what the same ecosystem has tolerated for months: Open racism. Antisemitism. Homophobia. Misogyny. Fascism. Slurs of every kind. Non consensual images of real people. Mockery of recently deceased people. Glorification of violence. Tokens like $suicide and similar garbage. Most of it keeps trading. Users lose money every day while hate, humiliation, and abuse are broadly tolerated, but when the token touches someone inside the circle, the system suddenly discovers urgency, coordination, and standards. Pump fun, Phantom, Dexscreener, and Solscan, together with their terminal badged KOL network, increasingly look like an inner circle that shapes narratives, sets agendas, and protects its own interests. When the issue is theirs, action is immediate and platform wide. When it affects everyone else, the usual answer is silence, indifference, or “that is just part of the game.” Personally, I hate doxxing. I hate these tokens. I hate this kind of personal targeting. But principles either apply to everyone or they mean nothing. If rules are invented on the spot only when insiders are affected.....That is insider protection.

Somehow it is both embarrassing and concerning that crypto czar @cz_binance leading #Binance needs to have wallet basics explained to him. A hardware wallet mainly protects the private key by making sure it never leaves the device. What it does not protect against is the human factor: someone entering their seed phrase on a fake site, using a counterfeit Ledger Live app, or approving a malicious transaction themselves. Ledger has warned about exactly these phishing methods for a long time. So either this was a shitpost with a quiet little jab at Ledger and some subtle positioning for the Binance mafia, or he really is as clueless as many people think. So once again to anyone: you are often the weakest link in the chain. Be careful what you type in and where and why. Always. And if you decide to keep your money on a scam CEX, understand that those coins and tokens do not belong to you. Stay vigilant.
