@TheRyanMcCrary There needs to be a mid level QB market. Guys like Tyrod Taylor end up massively undervalued and then Daniel Jones’ end up getting just under elite QB money when they’re both just like solid. Fields should really only be getting like 20 mill a year based on what we’ve seen

Justin Fields still has another year on his rookie contract as well as a fifth year option. After that, he’ll possibly get a big extension. However, the Bears don’t have two years to make a decision. They have to choose now and Fields is likely not worth a big extension.

People who want to get rid of Justin Fields due to financials are not aware of his contract. He is currently slated to make 7 Million next year and a 5th year option of 20 M. That is 13 Million AAV for the next 2 years. By then, we will all know if he’s worth the price tag.

@Sean_Davi Like there has been enough successful scheme at some points where it’s clear it’s not just completely inept people in control, but the pattern we’ve seen with the lakers is it appears the HC takes more control when things are going poorly and led to worse scheme with Ham + Vogel
