Bratz (2007) took a beating from critics, but it’s a fun teen film that leans fully into color and style, the fashion, the production design doing a lot of the storytelling, and that lack of pretension is exactly what gives it its charm.

@TheCinesthetic One of my favorite films.
I’m not joking.
English

@TheCinesthetic It’s not very good but it’s easily the best of the franchise

Tokyo Drift (2006) is fun & distinctive than the series usually allows, leaning fully into drift culture with stylish visuals, & centering Han gives it a personality that refuses the usual sequel formula, even Nolan has called it the best in the franchise.

@MusingBob Batman shows no mercy or compassion for Hagen. Hagen is just trying to find a solution to his ailment, his life threatening ailment and Batman decides he’d rather Hagen just die.

@TheRiddler109 @superswimteam7 WTF is wrong with Mudslide? I just watched it today.

Tomorrow is Dexter's 30th anniversary so here's the first television premiere episode of the series, DeeDeemensional, simple but very high stakes plot that pretty much visually illustrates what type of toon Dex is. #CartoonCartoons

@superswimteam7 Right. I don’t like every episode of the DCAU so I just block those out. Like the episode Mudslide of B:TAS has a terrible depiction of Batman as a character. I pretend it never happened.
English

I think with the entire DCAU, if you view it like, one writer taking over for another writer, like a new run of comics, that usually explains a way why characters suddenly act like a totally different person.
There are a bunch of small discrepancies and canonical errors between JLU and Batman Beyond, but that's because you're not supposed to pay that close attention and analyze it that closely.
If you treat everything like a, literal legend, continuity, then anything that's Canon heavy instantly becomes that much better. That's how Comics like Conan have always treated continuity.
If we return to that approach, I think we would all be better off for it. And arguably, DC Comics have been doing that since 2016 in the books

@Q_Review It’s real easy for me to separate New Adventures from the Animated series. There’s such a difference in quality between the two. I just pretend things happened between B:TAS and Justice League and that’s all I need to know.
English

@GreenUncreative My most controversial take is I think if you look at the original Batman series as stand-alone in its own continuity it's more satisfying in many ways
