PETA India’s Annual Victory Celebrations in Delhi and Mumbai brought together changemakers who have stood up for animals in powerful, meaningful ways over the past year. 💚 PETA India was honored to celebrate with national film award–winning actor @TandonRaveena, who was named Honorary Director of PETA India in recognition of her tireless volunteer advocacy for animals spanning over two decades. Beloved star of the hit series Anupamaa, actor @TheRupali was presented with the PETA India Humanitarian Award in recognition of her advocacy to end horsedrawn carriages in Kolkata and her continued support for the adoption of dogs and cats in need. Actor and standup comic @Jeeveshu was honored with the PETA India Digital Activism Award for using his platform to encourage the adoption of community dogs and cats, and jewellery designer Rahul Luthra, founder of Raabta by Rahul, received PETA India’s Progressive Designer Award for his pledge to go feather free and for embracing innovative, animal friendly materials like plant leather. Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Tarun Kumar in Uttam Nagar. It’s heartbreaking that something as small as a child throwing a water balloon during Holi could escalate into such violence. Humanity should never fall to this level. Prayers for his family and hope the culprits face the strictest punishment.

He is the CEO of FSSAI, IAS Rajit Punhani. Fake milk, paneer, vegetables, oil, and harmful chemicals are sold openly in the market. People are getting sick and even dying every day. Hygiene is ignored, labels are false, and factories do not follow the rules. You stay silent but keep taking a huge government salary. Sorry to say, but the entire FSSAI department should be thrown out because it feels like they don’t even exist in India. This is not a personal attack, but the anger of 140 crore Indians who are being fed fake food every day.
