History of The Chillaz 🧊
Buckle up, this is going to be a long one!
We are going to take a dive into the past and reflect on everything we have achieved to this point 👀
So let's jump in... 🧐
But first, we must thank everyone who has supported us so far. Holder or not, it has enabled us to be where we are now, so thank you 🩷
How it all started👇
For those who do not know, my name is Corey AKA @fuzeetrade 👋
I have a Law degree and years of experience in Web3 prior to the creation of The Chillaz, so I knew this was an environment I wanted to pursue my career in🤟
Having built up great knowledge from previous roles in NFT projects, I knew creating my own was going to be the next step in achieving my goals.
Mid 2021 - ChainChillaz was born!🥳
I assembled my team of extremely skilled personnel featuring @HazRyder @webblauk @Nosta_PH
A huge goal was to ensure we could make a real-life impact with what we created. Enabling people on the outside to see the immense effect Web3 can have on everyday life.
We pride ourselves on creating everything in-house.
We took a huge risk in creating our minting system, which was not something projects were even considering back then.
Boy did we smash that💪
We also created our automatic role bot🔧
Again, this may not sound huge but at the time, most were using 3rd party services (which is fine, we just wanted to demonstrate our ability to the community)
ChainChillaz mint - 12/12/21
We had been hard at work building an awesome community through running various events and not over-promising anything - we simply wanted to bring something fun to the space... which you will see, evolved massively.
Our mint was not an easy ride, but we were never going anywhere, we had our goals and we were going to achieve them. 🫡
After a 9-month grind, 12/09/22, we SOLD OUT 🤯
But how did we keep our community engaged for so long and the belief in us? 👇
- Throughout the mint we hosted many mint parties where holders could win various NFTs from other projects.
- Perks through minting particular traits such as our X-Ray Key & Golden Ticket traits. Each unlocked a different reward for the lucky minter😎
- Charity work, One of our biggest goals starting this project was to support endangered animals. We officially partnered with @wildtomorrow and donated over 8000 ADA! 🦏
We helped various animals with this funding, and importantly, supported the rangers out there every day!

- Exclusive Chillaz artwork panels that holders could flex and use as their banners 🤟
We stuck at it every single day. No burn, no rug, just pure passion for what we do.
But did it stop there?... 🧐
Of course it didn't.
We had lined up a huge FREE airdrop for holders of the X-Ray trait.
263 NFTs , 5 themes, a wide spread of traits, and a fresh perspective of our ChainChillaz 😆

But we kept going...
Next up, we created our very own staking platform, which to this day is still valued as one of the best in the space 🚀

We implemented both a custodial & non-custodial system. Also offering the chance for higher rewards based on longer lockup periods.
Weekly trait bonuses, all things not seen in the space before.
This platform has now evolved massively! Today I can proudly say we have over 12k assets being staked with us right now.
Not just our own, but 40 different policy IDs from various projects😱
We then extended the platform to have a shop and a raffle system where holders could spend their $CHILLAZ 🪙 This is still functioning today.
We have given our over 7000 ADA worth of raffles across 28 draws 🎟️
I would like to point out that staking was never in our roadmap, but it was a strong holder demand.
So, we did it. We did all of this with just a 37ADA mint on a 5555 supply. Levels. 🤌

But just know, our goals remain the same. We may have to adapt slightly due to funding, but that does not mean we are going anywhere.
As a project, you must be prepared to make changes when things do not go according to plan A.
This does not make us a "failure", if anything, it shows strength, passion & belief in what we have created here👊
We are currently working on changing some elements of the next phase, but not straying too far from what was originally set out.
The plan will be revealed very soon once we hit our 1600 mint target (OG supply target was 3.6k) 🔥
Little alpha, we will be sticking with the customisation route as we believe this will be the next wave for NFT functionality.
We want to bring the fun element back, and not focus on the word "utility" too much.
Appreciate this is very long, but we wanted to send a message out to those who may not know what we have done over the last 2 years. Keeping up with discord can be a chore at times😅
