I love field work. This week I was at Lobengula Garden where I witnessed @WFP_Zimbabwe's resilience building initiatives are impacting households facing food and income stress. #WFP and partners work across three complementary streams—Protect (cash assistance), Build (urban livelihoods), and Prepare (urban disaster readiness)—to help families meet immediate needs, strengthen incomes, and ensure cities are ready for shocks. The project offers livelihoods and entrepreneurship training, start‑up kits for viable value chains. What changes: Higher incomes, more diversified livelihoods, improved financial literacy and business management, stronger participation in local markets. I got these Vegetables from Gogo Sibonginkosi Sipepa, a member of the Lobengula Garden. Gogo Sipepa says she's now able to fend for her grandchildren from proceeds from the garden "WFP has moved from We are investing in resilience—helping communities adapt to climate shocks, supporting smallholder farmers to access markets, and strengthening national systems so that social protection reaches those who need it most," says @BarbaraTClemens @WFP_Zimbabwe Country Director @MoLAFWRD_Zim @cemambo @DavidColtart
