No. You’re missing the point. It’s not about following the rules. It’s about doing what is journalistically ethical. No one enters a crime scene before it’s cleared because they want to “humanise” the massacre. Kids died. How much more do you need to “humanise” this?

Thai police have circulated a video of a @CNN team apologizing for filming inside the Nong Bua Lamphu nursery at the center of the #กราดยิงหนองบัวลำภู mass shooting. It looks like a hostage video to those unfamiliar, but this is typical Thai - and not necessarily in a good way.
