If Joshua Jefferson can’t come back from what was a nasty looking ankle injury, you have to wonder how far the Cyclones can go in this tournament, and it just a shame. Injuries stink.

I’m old enough to remember Ronnie Lester battling injuries as a senior in the 79-80 season. That Hawkeye team got to the Final Four before Lester re-injured his knee in the national semifinals. The team lost & it was a shame as they could have won it all.

Lost in all this, a clear jump ball was awarded as a timeout for Kentucky. Santa Clara had possession and could have gone up 4 with 20 seconds left.
