People are so used to fatties and roided out lifters that normal-weight guys in their 20’s look like kids. Most of history’s wars were fought by guys who looked like this and it would be a very serious mistake to underestimate their strength and speed.

talking to oomf and i think the elf unity intro chapter could’ve worked if it was just longer and developed better… specially around the vareesa and aethas stuff. let them be more nasty to each other and defending their own actions + calling each other out

@Portergauge In the opposite vein there's a scene in FF14 where an antagonist gets up in your face, and you see it from a first person view. The cameras then shifts, and if you're a falafel, it shows him hunched over to get down to your hight. Or he's staring up at the tall races.

The entire narrative of WC III relies on the leaders of every major Kingdom stabbing their allies in the back by refusing to deliver aid; pretending Anastarian was anything but a piece of shit who damned Lordaeron - and then himself - to the Scourge, is suicidal to the narrative.

@arcanistsaphras It feels like the final story evolved past need for an Elven unity arc, but they had to still include it because it was the only thing announced about the story at that first Blizzcon talking about it.

Welp, this screenshot just about sums up this week's campaign. Because the campaign is so short, it gives little reasoning as to why we need this "Elf unity" other than fan service. But it's all in 1 chapter. It was rushed, and because it was rushed, it is contrived.

Okay, doing the elf chapter of the Midnight max level campaign, here be spoilers! Doing the Alliance version first, and then Horde after to see differences. Starting right off the bat with the premise: we're gathering ALL the elves of Azeroth as the army to retake Quel'Danas.

@LittleViking4 Fel magic usage wasn't common. It was used by the magisters out of desperation without the knowledge of the general population. Once they no longer needed it, they let go.

I wish instead of suddenly having the blood elves being against fel, Blizzard should have made them use their knowladge of the fel against the void. Considering the fel and legion was originally meant to battle/destroy the all consuming void.
