ToReminisce has attempted to solve the issue we’re addressing today internally, as to keep the ACEZ Fan Experience enjoyable — however we have decided the best thing to do is notify fans of who the person they’re supporting actually is. Olly Quinn, a member of #dearALICE, has been able to easily overlook racist, ableist, etc. comments from a group of “fans,” no matter how much the information is brought to his attention. This behavior has been a constant repetitive cycle since July. He will say it was an accident, say he will not do it again/management is handling the issue, then continue to interact with the problematic fan. He claims to care about what fans feedback is — yet there is an audio recording of Olly speaking to a fan in private DMs, saying she is the only one who can handle issues within the fandom “normally,” insinuating that the fans who are calling him out for interacting with someone who displays vulgar behaviors is handling the situation over-dramatically/weirdly. Keep in mind Olly was aware of every up-to-date username for the account, and seemingly brushes off fan-concerns when they’re not addressed in the way he’d like for them to be. We’d like to clarify that our previous post regarding Roxy and Olly was not out of malice, to be bitter, pettiness, para socialism, etc. It seems as though both parties are insinuating we’d do this out of spite, and multiple others are saying we are saying this out of a place of para socialism — which is not the case. @ollyquinnnn is aware of all the behaviors that Roxy has perpetrated onto others, and continues to interact with her. The reason we’re posting this has nothing to do with the fact that Olly is interacting with other fans, it is that he is able to overlook these behaviors shown in this post, as well as the behaviors he has perpetrated onto others, that we are upset. We only named Roxy due to her already being a known person in the community, there are multiple reports of her pushing others at the Manchester stop for the dearALICE tour, harassing ACEZ in DMS (tiktok, twt, discord, etc.), and harrassing ACEZ in comments (twt, tiktok.) There was no way to bring this issue up and be “vague”, unfortunately. To all the ACEZ that continue to support him based on the vague statement he gave in our previous post…notice how that extra context and livestream never came, never once brought up that he was sorry for interacting with Roxy? Keep in mind all he did was bring what happened up, he has yet to take accountability for what he’s said. We’d also like to reiterate that Olly was not in our group chat to solely discuss Roxy, we have multiple messages of him sending us things that have nothing to do with either the group, or Roxy. Olly asked FANS to find the usernames for Roxy’s group of friends, instead of management, just to continue to interact with them. Proof of this can be found in our previous Google Drive posted regarding Olly. We sincerely hope that if Olly has enough time to post throwback pictures on Weverse, he has enough time to start a proper livestream discussing this issue, and seeing what context he can provide for the conversation of what he said to the three minors.
